Men Analogue Automatic Watch Series 8

One of my grail watches was the Series 8 GMT which I bought last year so I was familiar with the quality from Citizens premium 8 line. I had my eye on these 3 handers for a while and when this came up on offer at £300 under RRP I had to have it. I've seen various reviews of this model with some describing it as a dress watch but I would describe it more as a gada sports design with it's larger case size, 100 metres of water resistance and deployant clasp H link bracelet. Yet again the quality of fit and finish is really very good indeed and will easily hold it's own against Swiss watches many times the price. The polishing and brushing to the case and bracelet is flawless and plays with the light beautifully. There's no micro adjust on the bracelet but there are half links allowing most people to get a good fit. I decided to wear a bit loose in anticipation of warmer weather. The clarity of the sapphire is superb and it looks like it isn't there from some angles. The blue sunburst dial with applied floating indices, logo and polished handset finishes it off to perfection. Lume is also surprisingly good and lasts through the night. Movement is the Citizen exclusive 9051 which is running about +6 seconds a day. If there's one moan it would be it doesn't have the exhibition caseback found on other variants. The watch came sealed in the full Series 8 packaging with the plush oversized box. This is a bonus as it seems some reviewers mention recieving standard Citizen packaging. This one completes my quest for a rounded watch collection including an Aqualand JP2000 diver, a Series 8 GMT, a Blue Angels radio controlled chrono and a bonus Crystal 7 day date. If you like Citizens designs then arguably you don't need to go much beyond this price range to own a collection of high quality watches. Update February 26: About 2 weeks after purchase I noticed this watch was listed at £65 less than what I initially paid. Called Amazon who tried to get me to go down the route of reorder and return but after persisting they refunded me the difference. Top marks for the service.👍

A melhor linha de relógios automáticos da Citizen. Movimento 9051 de 4Hz. Fiável, robusto e com excelentes acabamentos. Pulseira de fazer inveja a muitos suíços, vidro de safira, visual desportivo. Um relógio muito bom a um preço excelente. Citizen Series8 abaixo de 500€ é uma pechincha. Estou muito satisfeito. Recomendo produto e vendedor.

Hallo zusammen, diese Uhr sieht sehr wertig aus und fühlt sich auch so an! In dem Werbevideo von Citizen wird sehr dick aufgetragen! Es wurden mit einer anderen Uhrenfabrik die "Synergien" gebündelt, um eine fantastische Uhr zu schaffen! Soweit das Werbevideo! Aha, dachte ich, das Beste von zwei Uhrenfirmen, die Automatikuhren herstellen, zu einem akzeptablen Preis, da werde ich doch mal zuschlagen! Hab ich auch gemacht! Das Paket war sehr groß und die Uhrenbox ist es auch, die Vorfreude vorm Aufmachen waren dementsprechend groß. Die Uhr ist wunderschön, noch kurz das Band gekürzt, was dank Stifte schnell erledigt ist. Nur aufpassen, da sehr kleine Hülsen die Stifte halten, damit die nicht auf Nimmerwiedersehen im Teppich verschwinden! Nun noch die Uhr gestellt und stolzer Besitzer vom Besten, was zwei Uhrenhersteller zu bieten haben! Das Erwachen kam am nächsten Tag. 20 Sekunden innerhalb von 10 Stunden geht die Uhr falsch! Das kann meine Orient Star viel besser, und die kostet die Hälfte. Selbst meine Chinauhren mit PT 5000 Uhrwerk sind da besser! Fazit: Die Uhr gefällt mir sehr gut, aber das Automatikwerk ist nicht gut! Werde sie behalten, aber eine zweite werde ich mir nicht holen! Gruß Reinald Nachtrag1: inzwischen geht die Uhr genauer, sie läuft jetzt bei 12 Stunden noch 10 Sekunden vor. Werde das weiter beobachten! Nach weiteren Wochen mein Schlußfazit: Die Uhr ist schön und sieht wertig aus, geht aber 10 Sekunden pro Tag falsch! Das Uhrwerk hat mich enttäuscht, da hätte ich von Citizen genaueres erwartet. Eventuell habe ich ein "Montagsmodell" erwischt, kann auch sein! Würde sie nicht nochmal kaufen! Ich bitte andere Käufer ihre Ganggenauigkeit zu posten,danke! Gruß Reinald
