HDDからSSDへの交換で使用しましたが問題なく使用できました。 もう一台HDD搭載のパソコンがあるので挑戦したいと思います。

1TBのSSDを取り付けて、MacBookのTime Machine Back Upに使用。 Cableは基本USB-CだがUSB-AアダプタがUSB-Cコネクタに一体となるように装着できるし、USB-Cで使うときは折りたたむような形で収納されるので、紛失の心配がない。よく工夫されている。 このアダプタは不要ならば取り外し可能。 SSDの取り付けは工具入らずで簡単。 Cable自体はケースに固定なので、他のCableに交換は出来ないのが注意点。 Cableがもう少しフレキシブルさがあると良い。

すごく安いけど、全然使えます。1年以上使っているけど、いまだに問題ありません。 ケースを開けるのがちょっと硬かったくらいです。

USB-Cが付いているのがよい。ケーブルがあと10cm欲しかった

今までは割としっかりしたタイプの外付けケースを使っていましたが毎回ケーブルを接続するのが面倒なのでケースとケーブルが一体になっているこれを買ってみました。 工具いらずで組み込めるし、体感的には読み書きが速くなった気がします。何よりもUSB AとCのどちらにも接続可能なのが便利です。コスパは十分です。

Works fine, my PC could detect the 2.5in drive without any problems. The plastic might be difficult to remove the first time, just put a bit of pressure to open it.

SSDやHDDを入れ替えるには接続部分が弱々しいので向いていないが、安いので一個完結型として利用するなら十分だと思う。

接点不良で全く機能せず返品します。同梱された薄いラバーチップはSATA SSDをケースに格納する時の微調整用だと思いますがそれ以前の問題だと思います。エンクロージャータイプと同時にオープンタイプも購入していたので危機は逃れました。配送の件、200円プラスで翌朝5時～13時までの配達と記されていましたが何と到着は14:30頃。一刻も早く欲しかったので実は朝5時から待ってました😢。その後この旨はアマゾンに報告し返品引取りの手続きが終わり指定日時にお渡し出来るように在宅していましたがアマゾン配送の方は現れませんでした。😒どうしましょうか？

I set this enclosure up today and I’m really impressed. It’s simple, affordable, and works exactly the way a tech like me expects. The design is solid and it even comes with foam pads — one for SSDs and one for HDDs — so your drive fits snug and secure. I’m using it with a SanDisk SSD and the foam pad keeps it perfectly in place with no wiggle. The built-in USB cable is a great touch because I can’t misplace it, and it connects at full speed with no issues. I tested it with games and it loads them fast, just like running on an internal drive. This isn’t some flashy, overpriced gadget — it’s reliable, practical, and does the job right. If you want a no-nonsense enclosure for 2.5” SSDs or HDDs, this is a 5-star product all the way.

I have a drive case have been using for years and years and years, and it had an external cable that plugged into a port on the drive. I went to pick it up the other day, and the port had seperated from the board inside. I am thinking it is probably my fault from carrying it in my bag while leaving the cable plugged in. So, I couldn't access the files on the drive anymore. I needed a new case. But cases, and cables, and ports, have changed a bit since I got my last one. I have also embraced USB C and I have worked on simplifying my life by trying to normalize on the one standard to minimize the cables I need. I seemed to have three choices. A case like I had with a micro B connector A case with a USB C connector A case with an integrated connector (like this one) I was torn between the last two optiones, and it really came down to BENFEI, because they had two cases, each the exact same price, one with an integrated cable, and one with a seperate cable. I thought about getting the one with the seperate cable because If you need a cable of a different length, you just swap it out If your cable breaks, you just swap it out If you have multiple USB C devices, you don't need multiple cables, so potentially less clutter. In the end, I chose to get the integrated cable anyway because, I know myself, and I know, I tend to leave the cable plugged in anyway. That is actually why I need a new case. They are so cheap anyway. A good cable will cost almost as much as the whole enclosure. If the cable breaks, I can just get a new one. This had an integrated converter, so I can plug it into an old computer that doesn't have USB C, but when in USB A mode, you can't even tell hardly there is a converter. last but not least, I was just at a place where someone had a case just like my old one with the micro usb B case, and they were frantically looking around for their cable, and they couldn't find one. That will never happen with this case, since the cable cannot be removed. The downside is, the cable can't be removed, so makes it a little harder maybe to pack into a bag. The length is still a potential issue, but I do also carry with me a USB C extension cable, so if I need more length, I can just use that. How is the case? Well, It is quite nice actually. The fit was quite snug actually. there were some little foam fillers on the sides and at first I thought maybe I had gotten the wrong case, because it almost didn't seem the drive was going to fit in, but it did, and it is nice and snug, and small and compact, and for all of the reasons listed above, I really quite like it. I quite like the beveled adges all around the case too. I have access to my files again. It works fine. I mean, as affordable as all of these cases seem to be now, I may even pick up a few more for other old drives I have laying around so I don't have to swap them out.

Particulièrement intéressant car en USB3 Mettre un SSD dans le boitier, le fermer et le connecter et tout fonctionne immédiatement. Seul bémol le câble de liaison est un peu court dans certaine configuration d'ordinateur desktop. Mais avec un portable c'est nickel. Je recommande pour ceux qui en besoin.

Boitier pour disque dur de taille 2.5 pouces. Facile à ouvrir et accepte les disques durs de plus de 7mm d'épaisseur. Au besoin, pour les SSD fins sont fournis des pads qui permettent de caler le disque dans son emplacement. Le cordon est solide et la prise USB 3.0 pratique et peut également être utilisé sur les PC ayant de l'USB-C avec une vitesse de transfert plus élevée. Je recommande! j'en suis à mon troisième boitier.

Ich habe das BENFEI 2,5-Zoll-Festplattengehäuse gekauft, um eine ausgediente SATA-SSD als externe Festplatte weiterzuverwenden. Nach mehreren Wochen Nutzung bin ich insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Gehäuse überzeugt durch eine einfache Installation, eine gute Verarbeitung und eine zuverlässige Datenübertragung. Bereits beim Auspacken macht das Gehäuse einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Es wirkt stabil, sauber verarbeitet und gleichzeitig angenehm kompakt. Dadurch eignet es sich hervorragend für den mobilen Einsatz und passt problemlos in jede Laptop- oder Zubehörtasche. Der Einbau der SSD verlief unkompliziert. Das Laufwerk ließ sich ohne großen Aufwand einsetzen und wurde sofort korrekt erkannt. Besonders praktisch ist, dass für die Montage in der Regel kein zusätzliches Werkzeug benötigt wird. Innerhalb weniger Minuten war das Gehäuse einsatzbereit. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die Unterstützung von USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 sowie SATA III mit bis zu 6 Gbit/s. In Verbindung mit einer schnellen SSD werden Daten zügig übertragen. Große Dateien, Fotos oder Videos lassen sich deutlich schneller kopieren als mit älteren USB-Standards. Die tatsächliche Geschwindigkeit hängt natürlich auch von der verwendeten SSD und dem jeweiligen Computer ab, insgesamt konnte ich aber sehr gute Übertragungsraten feststellen. Ebenfalls gelungen finde ich die Kompatibilität. Das Gehäuse funktionierte sowohl an einem USB-C-Anschluss als auch über USB-A problemlos. Dadurch lässt es sich flexibel an verschiedenen Computern und Notebooks verwenden, ohne zusätzliche Adapter kaufen zu müssen. Während längerer Datenübertragungen blieb das Gehäuse zuverlässig in Betrieb. Es erwärmt sich zwar leicht – was bei SSDs und schnellen USB-Verbindungen völlig normal ist –, jedoch nie in einem Bereich, der Anlass zur Sorge geben würde. Einen kleinen Punkt Abzug gibt es lediglich dafür, dass das Gehäuse bei häufigem mobilen Einsatz etwas empfindlich gegenüber Kratzern sein kann. Eine kleine Schutzhülle wäre daher eine sinnvolle Ergänzung, wenn man es regelmäßig transportiert. Auf die Funktion hat dies jedoch keinerlei Einfluss. Insgesamt bietet das BENFEI 2,5-Zoll-Festplattengehäuse eine gelungene Kombination aus einfacher Installation, schneller Datenübertragung und hochwertiger Verarbeitung. Es eignet sich hervorragend, um SATA-SSDs oder HDDs weiterzuverwenden und daraus eine leistungsfähige externe Festplatte zu machen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist aus meiner Sicht sehr gut und ich kann das Gehäuse guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
