Autocrat Coffee Syrup, 32 oz

I've been obsessed for years with coffee-milk and decided to try this out to see how I'd like it. It was great. I like almost anything coffee related anyway, so this was a no-brainer. It hasn't been something I have on a daily basis, but it really is good and worth the price if you've never had it. You need to decide for yourself how sweet you want your drink, so start with a small amount in milk. Hope you find that you enjoy it as much as I do.

For those that want to recreate Dunkin’s dunkalatte and save yourself $7 here is a recipe that comes extremely close.2oz of coffee syrup8oz of whole milk (or milk alternative)Single shot of espresso (but I use double)I drink it iced so I mix the coffee syrup with milk, pour over ice, then pour the espresso in after.

Growing up in the North East it coffee milk was a treat and even as an adult I would go to Hannaford to buy Smiling Hills Coffee Milk for my mom and I twice a month. I tired making it myself with another brand of syrup but it wasn’t good at all so I gave up. I moved to the DMV area 2 years ago and had to adjust with the different foods and realized coffee milk was strictly a northern thing but I was still hesitant on buying coffee syrup because of the first time. I went to Dunkin when the Dunkalatte came back to see if it was like it and it was exactly the same except it was like $7 for one….I decided to look on Amazon for coffee syrup and came across Autocrat and decided why not it’s $10 (it was on sale). Let me tell you that first sip I felt like that guy from Ratatouille flashing back to my childhood. Every sip I take it feels like I’m back in the warm summer sun of Maine. I also made some for my mom and she absolutely loved it and begs me to make her more. I will continue to keep this a staple in my home. The only thing is, like everyone else said, the cap was damaged but it still was sealed and it still tastes amazing.

I grew up in Rhode Island and miss my coffee milk. Now I can have it anytime I want. This is a great product. Worth the price to me,

Reminds me of home. Nothing like some New England coffee milk. All the flavor of coffee, no caffeine.

I gotta say, previous reviews had me worried. Mine came in okay though, the seal was sealed and the lid was unbroken. Oddly though, the bottle was still sticky and had droplets of syrup on it.It tastes pretty good though! I tried it purely based off of B Dylan Hollis' video short on Coffee Milk, and I gotta say, it's pretty darn good. 2TB syrup per 8oz of milk and it makes for a sweet, pleasant drink. Dylan says it best, it's not like a latte or anything like that, it's really just kind of like chocolate milk, only coffee flavored. I don't drink a lot of milk though, so I'm still trying to find other uses for this much syrup. I kind of wish I'd gotten a smaller bottle, but I didn't see smaller bottles listed.
