Q: Someone please explain to me how spraying baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) up your nose is a good idea. Since Arm&Hammer bought it, they added it.

A small amount of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) adjusts the acid/alkaline balance of the salt spray. It makes it more comfortable to apart into sensitive mucosal sinus tissues. I've used this product for years as an on-the-go product to supplement my own sinus cleansing regimen, which takes longer to prepare and execute.

Q: What is the concentration of sodium chloride in this product? isotonic or hypertonic? challenging to find this info for arm & hammer saline products.

The info I have is only what is on the can. Suggest maybe contacting the manufacturer for more details. They are responsive.

Q: Does the can contain BPA?

Q: is it sea salt or table salt?

While I can't answer definitely, whatever the original source for the NaCl (sodium chloride or, commonly, salt) in this is, it's been refined sufficiently not to matter. I wouldn't use it on my food. :-)
