It took a while, but WOW!
It took a while for me to get the hang of using this. Trying diligently for about 5 minutes a day, I was almost ready to give up……until after about 2 weeks, it finally happened. At first, I could only keep the inner ball in motion for 10 or 15 seconds, and only with my right hand. Strangely enough, it was my left hand that made the first breakthrough of over a minute. Within a week, I’m really feeling the “force”, keeping the ball in motion over 5 minutes & seeing the flashing lights. I think I just had to get the right motion, which for me was more like twirling one end of a jump rope. I’m already feeling increased strength & flexibility in my arms and wrists. Really like this product! May the force be with you!

GREAT PRODUCT. EXCELLENT VALUE.
LOVE IT! I'm "getting older" as we say, almost 73, pretty fit in general, but am having some weakness & pain in my hands. Saw another version advertised online & looked on Amazon & saw this model & that it would arrive quickly. Wanted to try the "plain" version w/out the LED first. It's SUPER EASY to use & if someone says it's not, they obviously aren't following the instructions to slowly wind it up using the arrows. Any child could use it, but it IS a bit heavy & requires a firm grip to hold onto once it starts rotating. GREAT PRODUCT & GREAT VALUE. THANKS!

DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED
I have read and followed the instructions on this 3-4 times and still CANNOT get it to work properly. It will rotate for about 30 seconds and then stop, no matter how I hold it or rotate my wrist. I had very high hopes as my wrists are fingers are beginning to bother me much more. I chose this one based on reviews. I hope I can still return it.

Easy start
Works fine, although I'd be happier without all the bells and whistles (i.e. flashing lights) and be happier with a higher quality product that is more well balanced and produces less noise. I can tell this will not last long.

Works and its well made
Note of caution, recommend using wrist strap included. Higher RPM may cause you to lose your grip. Seems well made, well packaged, and shipped quickly. Bought it for several reasons, not just for strength training. Have had several surgeries and cortisone shots for carpal tunnel and trigger finger(s). Diagnosed with essential tremors and been advised to strengthen hands to possibly help. Been using a squeeze ball, came across this product, and decided to try it too. To be honest, it took a couple tries each hand to get it going. But once I figured out the proper technique (like rotating a glass to keep an ice cube in it), it works as advertised. Grip strength, wrist motion, and forearm muscles all seem to benefit. At higher RPMs, I could also feel it in my shoulders. Recommended.

A great little hand-wrist-arm exercise machine
I love this. It’s not a toy but a viable hand and arm exercise machine. I broke my right wrist requiring 3 surgeries, placed an apparatus to hold the broken bones together before stitching them up. My OT assigned me was using this gyroball; it gave me a lot of pain at first although started very slow. I waited until the intensity of the pain of broken bone subsided a bit, picked up the ball again, gradually increasing time and speed. I used thermal heating pad and paraffin waxing, and give a good massage afterwards, which has been very soothing my fatigued hand and arm . It’s been 5 months since I broke the wrist bone; the gyroball has been instrumental for strengthening the broken arm and wrist. I still have a long ways to go before 100% but I am able to put some weight on my wrist, trying to do my planks for 1 minute at a time with a lot of help from my left arm.Regarding the customer service, you can’t ask for better. The first ball got quickly broken and I had to return it. Before even making the trip to return it, a new ball arrived! I am grateful for not having to go through another hassle of arguing over the broken ball on top of stress over pain. Thank you!! 🙏
