Description is accurate. Mouse tracking is superb, using a Logitech MX Master 3S for Macs set at 1900 Dpi. Fit and finish is excellent, the finish and color matches my 2023 Mac Studio and Magic Keyboard with Touch ID, both in silver aluminum color perfectly! The chamfered border in mirror finish gives it a high end look. I did not have to use the included stickers to reduce the gliding sound of my mouse. It works fine without the stickers. I actually tried using them to see if it would improve but it did not. Thickness is perfect, not too thin or thick. I use the aluminum side to glide on instead of the leather. Excellent value for the money because similar items go for more. Gaming ability on my Mac is great and even my elementary school daughter enjoys using it for her games.

Wanna know why a cat and a mouse are mortal enemies? It's because of the cat fur! Most mouse pads have fabric on top. I have 3 cats (yeah, I'm allergic; that's what they make medicine for). You would think that you could just brush the fur off of mousepads with your hands. Nope. That stuff clings to that fabric like Velcro. I would use tape to try to get it off at least once a week. It would embed into the holes in my mouse. It would block the sensor causing my mouse to skip. But with this mousepad, all I have to do is blow and the fur flies right off. I use the metal side up (the metal on mine is black, not silver, but it is the metal) and the faux leather side is down. I use a Razer mouse and I have zero problems with tracking, and I also have no problems with noise. The mouse came with stickers to diminish noise, but I didn't find I needed to use them. That being said, I'm not a gamer. But I work at least 12 hours a day, 7 days a week (the joys of being self-employed), so it's not like I don't use my mouse a lot (but I'm using my keyboard a lot more than the mouse). Maybe it is because I bought the black version instead of the silver and that is why the sound is diminished? I don't know. But really, I don't hear any sound at all. I'm glad I bought the biggest one. I actually turned it vertical (portrait mode??) because I seem to move my mouse that way most often, even though I have 4 monitors, but I have a very deep keyboard drawer. Measure to see what you can use and get the biggest one you can fit. It didn't come with a wrist rest, which I absolutely need, but I have a separate one. This thing is cheap, well-made, and effective. It solved all my problems. (By the way, I did NOT get this as a freebie or anything. I'm just happy with it.)

It only looks good, it slides around and makes sounds a lot. Really annoying.

I should've purchased this YEARS AGO! I have a glass-top desk, and this mousepad is a GAME-CHANGER. The price? Affordable. The build quality? IMMACULATE! They even include adhesives for mounting it to your desk. Vaydeer, you knocked it out of the park.

The pad itself is beautiful. It is rigid/sturdy, looks sensation, and has nicely-finished beveled edges. The aluminum surface is relatively smooth with a matte finish. Flip it over, and there is a leather surface that you can use. The problem with using the leather surface, though, is that you must use adhesive pads on the aluminum side so that it does not slip around on your desk (there is not a lot of friction between a flat desk surface and the aluminum). Unfortunately, found very quickly that I really can not use the aluminum with my Apple Magic Mouse. I suspect it has something to do with the optics of the mouse. The mouse does track across the aluminum, but its responsiveness is slow... It is as though the cursor is moving through molasses. Luckily, there is no skipping or stuttering, which is positive, but the tracking is horribly slow. I did adjust the tracking speed through MacOS to its highest setting and the cursor is still slow. I need to lift and move the mouse to be able to span the full 27" screen of my iMac (even at the highest tracking speed setting). Another thing I noticed is that moving the mouse around on the aluminum makes an uncomfortable sound. The company provided adhesive pads to put on the mouse to avoid this noise. I never bothered because I did not like the way the mouse pad felt under the heel of my hand. The best way I can describe it is that it makes the heel of my hand feel numb. The metal is very smooth, but with a matte finish... It is just not as comfortable as a traditional mouse pad (or even the wood of a desk or a laminate). Maybe this mouse pad would work better with a mouse that uses different optics. If you are using an Apple Magic Mouse, though, I would recommend passing on this mouse pad and avoiding a frustrating experience. I think the price is very reasonable given the quality and unique look of the mouse pad, but that means nothing if the mouse pad does not support the mouse you are using.

Like others, I have had problems with my optical mouse using it on a desk. Eventually the mouse wears away the area you are using as a mouse pad and it becomes a pain to get the mouse to track correctly. I have gone through two desks over two years because of that problem. Other mouse pads don't work. For a short term use review, this pad has some weight, looks good and works like a charm. Edited after 19 months of use. I have been using two of these on a daily basis for over 19 months. No wear, easy to clean, work perfect, better than any othermousepad I have used while using computers 34 years. Looks to me to be one of those items you only need to buy once.

Esta desesperado intentando conseguir un mouse pad para mi ratón de Apple que no funcionaba bien en cualquier superficie. Paso muchas horas frente a la computadora y para mi era crucial hallar un buen producto. Este mouse pad es realmente excelente y lo recomiendo ampliamente. Se tiene la alternativa de utilizarlo en cualquiera de sus dos caras, una es liso metálica y la otra un poco corrugada, como si fuera piel, ambas son excelentes. Lo importante es que el mouse se desliza de manera muy precisa al momento de observarlo en la pantalla de la computadora. Maravilloso producto realmente.

Es un pad mause fuera de lo común, me encanto, luce único, premium y de muy buena calidad, por un lado es aluminio pulido y por el otro textura tipo piel para que no se deslice, el mouse funciona perfecto sobre la superficie de aluminio, es mate y por lo tanto no se llena de huellas, luce de primera y muy llamativo
