This couscous has become a pantry staple in my kitchen! We eat it weekly (even though my nephew thought it would be funny to stick it up his nose one time). It cooks up in just a few minutes and turns out perfect. I love how versatile it is — I’ve used it as a side dish, in salads, and even as a base for grain bowls. This couscous couldn't be easier. If you can make quick rice, you can cook this. Sometimes I prepare it with only a little salt because I am going to serve it with a flavorful main dish like Moroccan Pork Ragu served over the couscous. Sometimes I add herbs, spices and sliced scallions or garlic as a side dish. It can be added to soups and casseroles. This couscous is also great cold in a salad (rather than pasta) with Za'atar spice blend dressing and raw veggies. The more you use it, the more ideas you will have. It will become a pantry staple.

Pantry staple. What I love about couscous is that it takes on whatever flavor you prefer. I’ve used it plain with salt and butter or zesty with lemon plus olive oil. Sometimes I use soy sauce especially if I pair it with salmon. It’s really your choice.
