Wow, love these wheels! They are awesome! Great value, look, feel and speed they add to my bike. I have done about 500 miles on these wheels and they are riding just great. On my stock tarmac wheels doing 18 mph was standard and the sweet spot. Now with these wheels in the same comfortable gear that I would easily do 18 mph o instead do 20-21 mph. They are so smooth and fast. Keeping up with pelotons going above 25mph is when you will see these wheels shine and show themselves. They take it with no problem and the big wheel in the back is a great help. I definitely recommend having a smaller wheel in the front as comes in this package for the cross winds. Everyone kept telling me watch out with the crosswinds those wheels are too big ... etc...etc tbh it’s really not that bad. I live in Miami, Fl. I ride down in key biscayne near the water and the wind sometimes can be brutal but these wheels handle it good without a problem. My favorite part is that they sound great spinning, riders, runners or anyone near or far can hear you coming and for safety you can’t put a price on that, it’s almost like having a bell on your road bike without actually having it. They sound impressive, look impressive and they ride strong. For the price you can’t beat it and they are very well made wheels. If you have any doubts before buying you can purchase the Amazon warranty that gives you 2 years protection for only $25 extra dollars. Very happy with these wheels and having lots of fun with my rides. They have brought another level of happiness and motivation to my cycling. WheelSet Update 9/26/2021 I ride daily 10-20 miles and the wheel-set is still riding strong. Maintaining them is simple and easy. I’m still happy and pleased with this purchase. My favorite, they look and sound awesome!

The Superteam 60/88 wheelset is a great set of wheels. I got them to use for general road riding and as an alternate set of wheels for my time trial bike. They are light and stiff. The 60 / 88 section is still easy to control in a heavy cross wind. I love the 23mm width, it allows the use of a much wider variety of tire widths vs the wider rims can only really use the wider tires. The inner part of the rim is rounded like the more modern rims have become for better aerodynamics. The continental tires I use work out really well with no issues mounting or any problems with the bead seating. The rims come with a rim-strips pre-installed. This front wheel uses an 80mm presta valve length and about a 120mm valve in the back. For the rear I used a conti tube with a 60mm valve with a 60mm extension (continental - available on amazon) to get the right length. Make sure you have the right valve length tube on-hand when you order. I use the conti tubes because they have a removable valve core so you can use the extenders that thread into the tube's valve stem and use the valve core on the extended end. The wheels did come with a really nice set black anodized aluminum valve extenders that extend 60mm, so if you had a 40mm and a 60mm tube, with removable cores on hand they would give the right amount of length for the 60/88 depth. Just make sure you have the appropriate length removable core tubes on hand to get your tires mounted up. The wheelset comes with extra spokes and nipples which is great in case you ever have any problems. The wheelset also comes with a set of 4 grey brake pads for carbon rims that look a lot like the pads ENVE supplies with their rims for brake pads. The brake pads are for any Shimano style pad holders. And as long as we are discussing the brake pads the basalt braking surface is great and I have had no issues with any stopping on any grade, no howling, no fading. Just remember that once you swap to carbon rims and the associated brake pads you should not use aluminum rims because bits of aluminum will embed in the pads and possibly hurt the carbon rims. Just something to keep in mind for people who are upgrading from aluminum rims. The wheels also come with a set of QR skewers which are quite nice, pretty light for steel shaft skewers, and have nicely made parts. They close with cam action and hold the wheel in the dropouts very nicely. For this set of wheels, for some unknow reason, the rear QR skewer had a part missing. The part that the cam lever sits in was not on the skewer. Most likely a manufacturing/ packaging issue and something outside of the control of Superteam but they responded to my Amazon inquiry and sent me a whole new set of QR skewers that arrived a day or two after I reported the issue. No questions asked ...well they did ask for a picture ... Still awesome service. The freehub has smooth action and comes with a spacer to use a Shimano 8,9,10 speed cassette, or the spacer can be removed and an 11 speed cassette fits perfectly. The set I got came with UCI legal stickers which is an added bonus. This is not my first set of wheels from Superteam. They have amazing customer service and at least for the US stock wheels they have, the shipping is pretty fast. I have had a lot of other carbon rims (from other manufacturers) but these as good or better than any others I have owned. I highly recommend getting these wheels if you are thinking about a lighter set or swapping to a carbon wheel. The other depths of rims by super team I would have to assume are just as nice if you need a deeper or more shallow section rim. Just to reiterate, the Superteam wheels are amazing and may be the last set of wheels you will ever need.

It was time for a new set of wheels for my Tri Bike. I've been holding off, since my previous wheels were still in pretty good shape. I've looked at the SuperTeam wheels off and on for the past year. People that I have talked to always say good things about them, or at least nothing bad. They arrived packaged better and had more spare parts than my $$$ Mavic wheels. Including Valve extenders was smart. I already had a set but I appreciate them being included. Out of the box, I was amazed at the fit and finish, Really the finish could easily be on a wheelset costing 2.5X more. The color of these wheels are Deep Black, I'm not sure why all the pictures I see have sort of a Gray color. I prefer the black but FYI. The bearings were smooth, zero play anywhere. But what really made my day was I put the wheel on my bike (no tire) and connected it to my wheel on trainer. I moved the tensioner as close to the wheel without touching. Less than a card thick, true all the way around. I always had wheels a little off coming out of the box, but these were perfect. I've only put a few miles on them but if they make it through a few seasons of full distance Tri's I'll be happy. Unless there's a hidden flaw I have no reason to think these wouldn't last 1000's upon 1000's of miles. Even after the hubs burn out, throw on some DT's and you're back in business.

Truly these rims are an incredible deal! Sure, they're not Zipps, but I don't care. They're lightweight, functional, and I've increased my 40 km ride time by over 3 minutes. Maybe it's a psychological advantage, maybe it's not. But the clock doesn't lie, I'm faster and I'm happy about that! I purchased a new Ultegra cassette (10 speed) for the back rim and had it installed by my local bike shop. Apparently these rims are tubeless capable, but I haven't upgraded those yet. But I will soon and I'll update my review then. I mean honestly, I can't rate higher than 5 stars, but I would if I could. I love these rims!
