I want to buy this but without reviews and a star rating i am abit leary. any one have anything to say about the unit? pros/cons?

Pros: this thing is COLD. I put room temperature distilled water in and i have to turn it down/off after about 15 minutes.

Can you put it under the bed sheets?

YES! you can even put it under a thin mattress topper and it'll still cool you down. This thing is intense!
