Could be the best DRESSY watch under 6Kโ๏ธ - To begin with, this is such an excellent watch if you buy it at the right price. Do not overpay as I have seen at prices above 8k. I got it for Rs.5247. Came in its original packaging and got registered with the Casio site which increases your warranty period by further 6 months proving it to be a genuine product. Update: Loved the watch so got the white dial version as well for just Rs.4198. Added a jubilee bracelet, screams class and premium. Here are the pros, cons and wish it had. Pros: 1. Reliable Japanese quartz movement from a reliable watch manufacturer Casio. 2. Second hand hits almost every indices that even Swiss watch makers can't achieve at higher prices. (Eg: Tissot Prx quartz). 3. A Strap monster. Can be dressed up with the steel bracelet and can be dressed down with a leather strap. 4. Screw down crown and case back. 5. Beautiful black Sun Burst dial with contrasting silver hands and indices. 6. Excellent proportion with 40mm dial(suits most wrist size) and 20mm lug width. 7. Weighs less resulting in good comfort while wearing. Cons: 1. Not a big fan of the bracelet with the polished centre links. Nothing to complain regarding the comfort but occasionally pulls hairs. The factory bracelet could well do it for you but my personal opinion is I would recommend purchasing a good Jubilee/President bracelet(with flat end links) which makes the watch looks more expensive. Have attached images with a third party president bracelet. Wish it had: 1. Typical Casio lume. Wish it could last bright a little longer. 2. Wish it had sapphire instead of mineral. Since Edifice products mostly have sapphire and i wouldn't hesitate to pay extra for the sapphire crystal. Conclusion: It is a fantastic watch under 5.5k. Just go for it. Experiment with the a few straps/bracelets. You'll definitely appreciate it.

A Budget Marvel of Quality: The Casio Edifice EFV-100L-1AV
In the realm of affordable timepieces that deliver both style and substance, the Casio Edifice EFV-100L-1AV emerges as an impressive contender. Crafted with an astute attention to detail, this watch demonstrates an aura of luxury that belies its price point. The allure begins with the meticulously designed stainless steel case. Its artful fusion of brushed and polished bevels exudes an air of opulence that immediately catches the eye. The result? A timepiece that feels remarkably expensive to the touch, elevating the wearer's experience. Aesthetically pleasing and functionally practical, the sunburst dial harbors applied hour markers that transcend the ordinary. Their presence, a testament to the watchmaker's dedication to refinement, evokes a sense of depth and dimension. Contrasting against the dial's backdrop, the markers and hands proudly bear luminescent accents, ensuring legibility even in dimly lit environments. It's worth noting, however, that while the luminosity does aid visibility, it might not meet the high expectations of those accustomed to brighter loom. A highlight worthy of recognition lies in the screw-down crown, a feature rarely found in timepieces of this price bracket. This attribute not only affirms the watch's water resistance up to an impressive 100 meters, but also underscores the brand's commitment to quality craftsmanship and durability. Nestled comfortably on the wrist, the EFV-100L-1AV surprises wearers with its deceivingly wearable profile. Despite its 42mm case width, the watch's ingeniously thick bezels give rise to a visual illusion, causing it to exude the essence of a more modest 39-40mm timepiece. As a result, even individuals with a 6.5-inch wrist circumference will find this watch to be a flattering and comfortable companion. While the leather strap might not command center stage in the ensemble, it holds its own as a serviceable accompaniment. Its performance resonates with a sense of unpretentious practicality, further aligning itself with the watch's overall character. One noteworthy aspect that holds the Casio back from absolute horological perfection is its choice of mineral glass over sapphire crystal. This decision, while pragmatic from a cost standpoint, does entail a compromise in scratch resistance and light reflection. Nevertheless, this minor setback hardly diminishes the watch's overall appeal for everyday wear. Drawing inspiration from the iconic Omega Aqua Terra, the Casio effortlessly channels a higher echelon of horological splendor. The quality of materials utilized in its construction synergistically amplifies its perceived value, making it a timepiece that transcends its modest price tag. In summary, the Casio Edifice EFV-100L-1AV emerges as an extraordinary find in the realm of budget watches. Its exquisite stainless steel case, intricate dial detailing, and unexpected water resistance showcase a level of quality that easily surpasses expectations. While a sapphire crystal would have been the crowning touch, this watch nonetheless earns its place as a reliable and stylish choice for daily wear. The Casio not only captures the essence of luxury, but also serves as a testament to the notion that true value is often found where quality and affordability intersect.
