The Original- circa â70s/80s was incomparable, thatâs why thoseof us who who were fortunate to know it then, long to be able to purchase it again and again thatâs why I am always pestering A to try harder to locate the original If it can be located in Some old forgotten warehouse!!? My favourite of all fragrances Up to almost 10 years ago I had no less than 9 of the beautiful bottles displayed on my bedroom Dresser! They were almost as beautiful as the fragrance they once protected đ„°

I love the smell of perfume Bal a Versailles. But the smell of Eau de Toilette does not take long on your skin or clothing.

Memory Lane and the 80s
Still not entirely convinced this is the same fragrance I fell in love with in the 80s. My nostalgic journey down Memory Lane is costly and for some reason I don't feel the same about the fragrance. Not sure why. perhaps our memories are more rose-tinted.

Bal A Versailles perfume
I haven't used this product since the 1960's and didn't feel it was as gorgeous as It used to be. Surprised at the PLASTIC top on the bottle and surprised at the price (so cheap!!!) Cant decide if it is the real thing or not!?
