I recently bought the Gevi Espresso Machine and Grinder set, and I’m honestly thrilled with my purchase! Not only do both machines perform exceptionally well, but they also look beautiful on my kitchen counter — the cream color and retro design are even nicer in person. The espresso machine heats up quickly, pulls consistent and rich shots (you can see from the crema in my photo!), and the steam wand works great for frothing milk. The pressure gauge is also a nice touch for dialing in the perfect shot. The grinder is easy to use with adjustable settings, and it produces a very consistent grind — essential for good espresso. One thing that really impressed me was the quality of the included accessories. Everything feels sturdy and well made, and the two espresso cups they included are absolutely adorable — they are double-walled glass, stylish, and keep the espresso hot while staying cool to the touch (see photo!). I love this little set. After a trip to Italy I just couldn't do Keurig anymore. I had cappuccino every day when I was there and needed an Espresso Machine, but didn't want a big machine on my little counter. This two piece grinder, espresso set up works really well for me. The grinder doesn't get the grinds in the center of the portafilter, but for the price and convenience, I'm still giving it 5 stars. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat! ❤️

i’ve never owned an espresso machine before and this paired with the grinder is amazing. it’s easy to use and super self explanatory. it comes with many different pieces and an easy to follow instruction manual. i use this every day so i’ve been saving so much money on coffee!!

I'm a beginner in this espresso world. I'm learning watching videos and asking chat gpt. I can't seem to get a 1:2 shot in this machine. Still makes good coffee but the amount of liquid to ground coffee seems off. Porta filter only fits 14 grams of coffee so I should get 28 grams of liquid but I always get much more. I tried stopping it when it reaches 28 grams but I don't like the flavor. I'm still enjoying the machine because it's a very good buy and a decent beginner setup. It's easy to use and frother works well. Update: I bought a bottomless porta filter but it doesn't work well because the grinder on it's finest setting doesn't grind coffee fine enough. At least that's the reason I was given. I'd have to buy an already fine ground coffee to try it. The machine isn't a true espresso machine it makes lungo. I put in 14g get 72g liquid. That's not an espresso. I have tried to stop it when the scale hits 28g but coffee is horribly bitter.

One of the best Amazon purchases that I’ve made. I’ve never had an espresso machine before. Did a lot of research. Wanted something that was worth the price. There are a lot of expensive machines out there, but I think this one is a steal. Got it for $200 - included the machine with steam wand, bean grinder, and all the tools you need. I especially love that you can make doubles - much more efficient. I’ve used it every single day for the last 9 months, and it still works just as well as the day I got it. Took a couple of practice tries to learn. The grinder is a bit messy, but what grinder isn’t? Just wipe the counter afterwards. A little loud, but we’ve never had issue - and I have a baby. Fits perfectly on my kitchen counter. Tastes delicious. I actually prefer my homemade coffee to anything else.

The espresso machine arrived broken out of the box. It will turn on, but the temperature gauge does not change, and instead of waiting for it to heat up, the machine automatically powers off after a few minutes. Honestly, that's only the beginning of the problem - amazon and the manufacturer are the real issue. I initially contacted amazon for product support, went through several tests of the machine with them before concluding that it had an internal heating element failure. Amazon then bounced be over to GEVI the manufacturer for a replacement under warranty. I contacted GEVI, (who's hours on their automatic answering service directly contradict the hours of operation on amazon's website, so contacting them initially takes several attempts) and they said it was Amazon's responsibility to replace because it had been less than thirty days. Fast forward to me banging my head against a wall as I have this same conversation with Amazon/GEVI three more times, and no one will accept responsibility for providing me with a replacement. I flushed a few hundred dollars and several hours down the toilet - don't do the same to yourself.
