El producto venía dañado! es una pena que después de ver tantas opiniones de este excelente producto venga de esta manera. me dí la oportunidad de hacer un gasto tan grande y me llevo una gran desepcion. A veces lo caro sale muy malo ni hablar como decimos en México... va pa atrás! The product came damaged! It's a shame that after seeing so many reviews of this excellent product it comes this way. I gave myself the opportunity to make such a big expense and I am very disappointed.

Been in the fence for a long time with this in my wishlist, and finally decided to buy it after my other grind and brew leaked coffe and grinds all over my counter and mug - again… I had a long conversation with ChatGPt about which coffee maker I should get, based on the brand of store bought coffee we use, the volume we make daily, and most importantly it can NOT leak… Had my first cup today from this beauty. Wow. Just wow. Same exact brand of coffee (Dunkin Donuts original - don’t judge!) we’ve been drinking for over a decade. But today, brewed in the Moccamaster it was SO SMOOTH. Not bitter AT ALL!! Absolutely NO coffee grinds in the bottom of my mug!!! We followed the coffee to water ratio recommended in the instructions - which was much less than we used in our other machine - but the strength was greater and it tasted really good. It was so quiet when brewing as well. Just absolutely perfect for what I wanted. The size is good as well, it’s a little smaller than my previous grind and brew but the width is a little more. My only complaint is that the instructions said multiple times that it is NOT dishwasher safe, and must be hand washed. I did not realize that before I bought it at all. So that is a little annoying but will just have to get used to it in our morning routine. The carafe also feels thinner and more delicate than my previous lower end coffee makers, so I am sure it’s only a matter of time before I accidentally break it. Plan on buying a replacement to have in hand for when my clumsy self breaks it. I really like the design elements of this machine. Very different to have the coffee lid with the funnel all the way down to the bottom of the carafe but I must say it seems really brilliant and ingenious. I just love it. Overall, I am seriously impressed! It’s my new “baby!”

We've had this coffee maker a few days and it makes excellent coffee — its reputation is well-earned. I specifically chose this model for its reputation and its compatibility with smart switches/plugs, which is a common use case for mechanical-switch coffee makers. However, there's an unlisted feature that breaks the smart-switch use case: a 100-minute auto-shutoff that physically moves the power switch to the off position — it's not just an electronic latch. That means the next time your smart plug supplies power, the switch is already off and the machine won't brew. You have to manually flip the switch back to "on" before each use. This isn't mentioned in the Amazon listing and I couldn't find it in the manual either. If smart-plug automation is why you're buying this machine, be aware: you'll need to add "flip the switch on" to your nightly coffee prep routine. The older KB and KBT models reportedly don't have this auto-shutoff if that's a dealbreaker. Still a great coffee maker — just wanted to flag this for other buyers who might be in the same boat.

It makes smooth and clean-tasting coffee quickly. So 5 stars in taste. Easy to operate, simple but pleasing design, light weight, good size, and easy to clean. 4 stars because: the water tank feels cheap, the drip handle falls off easily and difficult to clean or dry water out of it, and the quality of the parts in general just don’t feel they match the high price tag.

Makes good coffee but for the price I think the filter basket should be metal and not plastic. Especially considering it's in contact with boiling water
