100% Pure Rendered NON GMO Beef Tallow-Food Grade- 7LBS

I have never written a review before but couldn’t pass up an opportunity on this product. I ordered the 7lb bucket and it was shipped quickly. Packaging was great. The container was filled to the top with creamy and smooth tallow. I have used other beef tallow that had a horrible smell and left an awful taste on my food. I was reluctant to try beef tallow again but I have to say this tallow had no awful smell and no bad taste. Actually tastes good. The texture was perfect. I have already cooked with it and it doesn’t leave my food tasting awful or rancid. I divided it up into 9.5 pints and refrigerated it after arrival. I even kept a little out to use cosmetically. It feels wonderful on dry hands and chapped lips. I will definitely buy this product again. I have already referred many friends who were looking for tallow. The price is reasonable also. Awesome product!

Final update, I'm still not happy about the price change, but the seller did work with me to make things right since I did receive the wrong product. And since the product is such high-quality as well, I will return a star. I do appreciate their customer service even though it was a frustrating experience.Update, I am taking away a star. I have purchased a bucket of this tallow multiple times and make beautiful skin care products with it. I'm going to include a picture because I've always bought the same bucket at the same price for about $50. I used to be able to get a 7 pound bucket of 100% grass fed beef tallow. Now, Sulu has made the $50 bucket just 100% non-GMO pasteurized pure beef tallow. You now have to pay about $75 for the same size bucket to get 100% pure grass fed beef tallow. When my bucket arrived, I had to double check because this is so ridiculous. Look at the picture and see the two buckets side-by-side because these were only purchased within a couple of months of one another.I'm on my second bucket and I absolutely love this beef tallow. I have been cooking with it regularly, but I also make skin care products with it that have been muscle tested and found to be clean high-quality. I do make tallow balm, but I even use this like a gloss. It is so high in vitamins that anytime I've started to get a cold sore, I start putting tallow on my lips and it nourishes my lips to the point that a cold sore never breaks through the skin. Both buckets that I have received have been firm and clean looking. No chemical smells or Crisco like consistency as a few have reported.

Purchased this product in February 2025. Product has a date code within the range but not included in the recall recently publicized.Product has been stored at room temperature, generally 55-65 degrees, in its sealed container, 7lb size. I note on the container that refrigeration is recommended. I don't have large refer space and live on subsistence/survival foods so store it like we used to store lard and bacon fat.I use it for deep frying, adding to cooked dishes and frying tortillas. So far, zero complaints. Drippings are saved in an old aluminum drippings container prior used to store bacon fat drippings, then re-used. I've currently used about 15% of the container. A little goes a long way; far more efficient than oils.I recommend this product. It has returned sanity to frying foods. No more oily residues and items are crisp and retain their crispiness after serving. Beef flavor is very mild. I actually wish it were more pronounced.

Honestly, this is a great find. Beef tallow is one of the healthiest fats, only issue is when you buy in small jars at the grocery store it can be really expensive. I was looking for a healthy fat to add to my meals. This is so cheap, lasted me a long time, and NEVER GOT RANCID even after many many months. Beef tallow (in general) doesn't even require refrigeration. Always smelled great, never rancid. I've had lots of gut issues in the past, zero reactions ever to this. So I just add a tbsp or two to a meal to up my healthy fat content, and it's great. No complaints so far, have gone through 2 whole tubs of these over the past couple years. Don't usually write reviews, but saw this only has about 700 reviews as I'm re-ordering, and want to encourage anyone paleo or animal-based or low-carb, or even just the standard American-diet housewife, this is a great kitchen staple!

Weird smell but after adding it into my product you couldn't smell it anymore. Will be buying again as needed. Shipping was fast too.

We’ve purchased this tallow a few times now, and it has been excellent. We use it for cooking primarily, and it has a true and mellow taste, exactly what you would expect and hope for. It’s excellent for frying foods. We also use it as a balm, and it works great for that purpose as well. It’s easy to infuse your favorite essential oils into it, and works well as a carrier. Highly recommend this brand!

Perfect for skin care. There's no smell at all and it's so velvety smooth. It's helped sooth the itching from my newest stretch marks at 8mo pregnant and dry skin on my face without breaking me out. I'll definitely order again.
