Seems really compact and strong

I’m a fan of Xbull for not only its quality and durability but also its price. I have the larger 12k winch and was so happy with it in my trailer I decided to get this smaller one for lighter duty jobs around my shop. This comes with a remote and synthetic rope, I my opinion, two non-negotiable items. It’s small compact design. Allows for flexible mounting options and the unit is provided with clear easy to understand installation instructions. I see another reviewer had issues with the predrilled mounting holes in the unit. I did not find the same issue, maybe it was a one off? Overall the Xbull product line has performed well for me with no issues. I have a feeling though if I did have any issues they would be right there to correct any problems like a company should.

Relay needs to be buildt on top of motor..Remote needs a better Battery departmen/Clip.

The X-Bull y Series winch is a workhorse! My husband is a mechanic and is currently working on a project car in his at-home shop. He was offloading some extra parts and someone came to the house to pick up- unprepared for the loading process. My husband immediately remembered the winch we received the day before and took to setting it up immediately. Wow! It worked great. The winch has a 5000 lb load capacity and is waterproof for outdoor use. The dual control options make it easy to use in a variety of situations. The winch weighs a little over 23 lbs which means it's easy to transport and set up. My husband fabricated it to use in his shop as we already have a winch on our ATV we use. Overall, it's a tough winch that's well priced and will come in handy in our shop.

Chinese "JUNK" Mounting holes in winch are not taped properly, would need a tap to rechase threads. C'bores in cable guide are too small can't get a wrench or socket on to tighten bolts. Put everything in place on the mounting bracket and the electric terminal touches the frame. Battery cables are too short. Only has (2) 10mm bolts for mounting a 5000 lb winch. Wouldn't trust to pull 1000 lbs. Said it would fit my machine. Unless you want a lot of frustration don't buy. Doesn't deserve 1 star.
