Extended EOS R10 Eyecup Eyepiece

Fits my Canon EOS RP as advertised. Secured using two small screws on the underside (and comes with extra screws and a screwdriver). The eyecup does a good job sealing against my eye (way better than the original eyepiece), so long as I really press my face up to the back of the camera. The material is pliant but feels durable. The manufacturer probably has a decent profit margin at this price, but considering OEM prices (and the lack of an OEM extended eyecup), I'd buy it again.

Just purchased my r10 and found the original eye cup too shallow and hard. It would let stray light into the viewfinder on sunny days. This extended eyecup was super easy to install with the included screwdriver and screws. With it installed, the soft silicone is comfortable around the eye and provides a little more distance from the camera to the face. The camera should have come with this; highly recommend it!

As mentioned by others... You won't see the entire screen after swapping the eye piece. But for me, I wear glasses, it was the case with the original eye cup anyway! This is helping with the sensor detecting my face near the camera and lessen the smears in my viewfinder. The extra screws and small screw driver is top notch. 👌 a bit steep for what it is... but worth it for me.

I live in the desert Southwest, where bright, intense sunlight is the norm. I was constantly struggling with my Canon R7's stock eyecup in those conditions, often having to press the camera firmly against my eye socket or use my free hand to shield the viewfinder from stray light.
