Excellent quality and sturdiness.
Product purchased for gardening and outdoors work and with its ceramic blade it's easy to keep clean, rust-proof and very light. Handle grip is perfect for holding the blade steady which is short enough to be very effective on thinner branches and blade can be readily cleaned of sap etc. Perfect for outdoors work and exactly what I needed. Extremely pleased with quality of product.

It's okay
The knife part is exactly as expected. The sheath part is pretty lacking, knife fits very loose and sub par quality. For under $10 your not getting quality stuff. But will do exactly what I need it to do.

Does it’s job
There are a lot of reviews commenting on this thing that are about the point, brittleness, loose sheath…I have the “real” Emerson, and wanted to try this out. I like it a lot as a trainer. It is not meant for hard use. It is a stealth-ish “get off me” knife. The sheath issue can easily be solved with tennis racket handle tape. The only things, to me, are that the sheath should be more versatile, the blade itself is just a little bit shorter than the “real” one.Of course the weight is very different.

Great for Kerambit Training
This is a nice little training device for using a kerambit knife. As others have mentioned, the sheath doesn't really hold anything in place. I wouldn't rely on this for EDC or anything outside of a training environment.

It will do exactly what it was made to do
Not as nice as a metal blade, but it's perfect for what it is designed to do. I wish the sheath offered a way to carry horizontally. It tends to print when carried under a shirt on a belt.

Loose and fragile
The sheath has weak retention and the blade part chips vs a fingernail. It would probably work once. Good idea but execution bites.Update from 2 stars to 1. The retention is terrible! Just your shirt brushing against it loosens it from the sheath.

Plastic knife
Just what I was looking for. Compact, durable and easy to carry.

Maybe not a cutting tool
First thing I tried to cut was the flimsy, typical product packaging of a kitchen knife. It immediately left a sizeable notch in the edge of the blade (pictured). Nothing but the label and the plastic packaging were touched with the blade. The Plastic sheath is also very loose fitting. My intent was to mount this on my gear in either sideways or completely inverted orientation but that's not going to happen with this knife/sheath combo.Amazon is standing behind it and to the best of my memory, I've never had a bad experience with Emerson Knives before. I don't intend to warn against either of them but this product in particular was not impressive. Maybe this is a one-use, type thing or not intended to cut. Either way, not what I was after. You might say "it's not going to cut it."*cough*
