If you mean, can you make fabric from the silk, the answer is yes however, as in the real silk making process, you need to kill the larvae in the cocoon first. The reason is that when the larvae are ready to emerge, they produce a chemical that burns a hole in the cocoon. That process destroys the continuity of the silk fiber. Basically, the silk is one long strand that forms the cocoon. These strands are what are used to form the silk fabric.
