Can you use an electric sharpener for this knife?

We recommend sharpening this knife using whetstones as that gives you more control and ensures better symmetry.

What is a recommended sharpening stone for this knife?

somewhere i saw a whet stone was recommended for best results. I bought their sharpening rod but still have not needed to sharpen any of the knives. they have really retained their edge. they are sharp enough that they actually shave bone with out you realizing it. my only wish is that the blade was narrower. I think its 1.25" and would have liked 3/4". I'm hoping one day to see kitchen shears made by Dalstrong.

Why are your indications that this is a Japanese knife when it is clearly made in Yangjiang which is located in China?

There are two bevels, so you can use it either way. I've used mine with both my right and left hands

カッコ良く使いやすい。最高です！

ド素人レビューで失礼します。重心のバランスがグリップに寄っているので肉塊を切る時とても切りやすい。刀身も独特のデザインですが食材は引っ付きにくく、脂肪が残る感じも無くて切りやすい。届いてそのままの刃でしたがしっかりとカットすることが出来て切れ味は良いと思います。研ぎがいがありそう。ピンバッジや鞘などの付属品にも満足してます。輸入になるため定価よりはどうしても高くなりますが、そこは仕方ないかなと。それでも満足いく商品だと思います。
