Dickies Men's Slim Straight Work Pant

Finding pants for my son is like hunting for Bigfoot – you hear they exist, but you never actually see them in the wild. My son, with his 32 x 36 frame, has legs that could challenge a giraffe in a high-kick competition. Enter the Dickies Men's Flex Work Pant Slim Straight Fit, the holy grail of hard-to-find sizes! First off, let me say, these pants are so rare that I almost expected Indiana Jones to be the delivery guy. I’ve scoured every brick-and-mortar store from here to Timbuktu, but no dice. I was starting to think my son would have to resort to a life of high-waters or wearing shorts year-round. But thank goodness for Amazon – the land where elusive sizes come to roost. When the pants arrived, my son was skeptical. He’s been let down by so many pairs before, I think he expected them to magically shrink in the wash or transform into a 32 x 30 like some cruel joke. But nope, these Dickies held strong! They fit him like a glove – well, like a really long glove for really long legs. The quality of these pants is no joke, though my Dad jokes certainly are. They're built tough, just like my patience after years of searching for this size. The Flex material means he can bend, squat, and do the Hokey Pokey without any wardrobe malfunctions. He even tried to give them a test run by reenacting a scene from Mission Impossible – and they passed with flying colors. He didn't fair so well though. Now, let’s address the style. These pants are as sleek as my son's attempt at a mustache – slim and straight. They’re perfect for everything from school to work to whatever other mysterious teenage activities he’s up to. Plus, the color is sharp, and they pair well with pretty much anything, even those weird graphic tees he insists on wearing. In conclusion, if you’ve got a string bean for a son like mine, the Dickies Men's Flex Work Pant Slim Straight Fit is a lifesaver. They’re sturdy, stylish, and most importantly, they fit! I can finally stop dragging my son on wild goose chases through department stores. P.S. Why did the scarecrow wear Dickies pants? Because he was outstanding in his field – just like my son in his new pants!

I have owned dickies in the past, but for some reason I always owned the larger, baggier versions, and so I stopped owning them as I grew out of that look. I currently work in a restaurant where I am required to wear black pants, and I used to wear cheap walmart slacks everyday, but these have become my new favorite. They have a good straight leg shape that also gives an indirect recognition that you do indeed have a butt, but without over announcing it like a pair of tight jeans would. The waist felt slightly snug the first time I wore them, but since then they have felt very comfortable. Depending on the pants, I wear either a 32 or 33 waist, but as 32s, these have a nice slim fit to them that won't allow them to sag, which is perfect for running back and forth at work. I'm 5'11" and 175 lbs, and the fit feels great on my legs as well. The material is very sturdy, as anybody who has worn dickies before would know, and therefore can withstand a good amount of abuse. There seems to be some conflicting opinions in the reviews regarding the fit of these pants - perhaps I can clarify. They are not slim fit in the sense that a modernly fashionable young man may think. By this I mean that they are not skinny jeans, they are not your girlfriends jeans, and they are not super butt hugging cowboy pants. They are, however, slim fit in a sense that a modern businessman may think, who can discern the difference between a casual style slack pant and a slim fit slack pant. In other words, there is definitely going to be some room between your legs and the pants, but they won't appear baggy. They'll look much more like straight leg jeans. I give these five stars as they perfectly fulfill my needs. They are not my favorite pants by any means, and I personally would very rarely wear them to any place except for work. But, I still do wear them almost every day, they are very reliable, and I am very happy with them.

Waist and butt fit like typical dickies work pants. The legs are slim like straight cut jeans. Definitely have to upsize from your jeans waist size. I wear a 31 x30 in Levi’s so I ordered 33x30 and they fit great. I would say they’re very similar to a Levi 514 cut in the leg minus the extra space jeans give you in the butt. Pockets are slim and secure on the size keeping stuff out of the way when leaning. They feel very durable like the standard 10 year old dickies I own which held up to 1000s of wash cycles. I highly recommend as an alternative to the standard dickies if you typically skip leg day like me.

As a skateboarder, I look for a few things in a pair of pants. I like my pants to feel substantial, look fresh, hold up to falls and scrapes, and offer good mobility. Well, if you go to any skatepark, you'll see half the people there wearing Dickies, and for good reason. These pants really do check every box for a skater. I've probably skated each of my pairs well over 10 times, and they all look brand new. I will say they are a bit large, and I can't wear them without a belt. But as a skater, baggy is better, so this really is a non-issue. I love Dickies pants, and the skate community seems to feel the same way. If you're looking for some hefty pants that can take a lot of punishment, then I these are probably your best bet. The only thing I'll say against them is that in the summer they get pretty hot, but they're mostly polyester so what can you expect.

I’m 5’ 9” 220lbs and wear a 38x30 I’m usually a 36 but they were a bit snug. The 38 fits me perfect. I’m a building super for a high end residential building and I wear these all day everyday and they are comfortable to wear and hold up well. They are priced fairly and love the fit of these and love the side pocket I use for pencils and a marker

I am a loyal, LOYAL 874's wearer and will be until the day I transition into the next go 'round. And if I'm smart, I'll wear 874's in the next life as well. That said, I cannot comprehend why Dickies can't get it right with their slim lines. I'll break it down as easily as possible from bottom to top: 1. Legs- this is where these pants shine. Everything about the legs is perfect; the length (a little short without being highwaters), the fit (slim without being "skinny") and the look. 2. Crotch- bad. Because these sit "below" the waist, the area between the top of the inseam and the waist is too short. My skateboarding days are over but if I still skated, I would not do so in these pants. I do not trust the "below" the waist element. A trip to the ER is bad enough; trip to the ER with Crack Attack = horrific. Also, the zipper is way too small. Period. 3. Waist- this is where things may get weird. Perhaps most normal people will be fine with the waist. I'm slim. Which is why I buy slim pants. The waist on 874's is notorious for being frugal with the give. There is none. PERFECT! This is why I buy 874's; because the waist fits "slim" at the waist. And 874's aren't even "slim". So when I purchase a slim fitting pair of pants from Dickies, I would expect them to fit the same as 874's, if not tighter. However, inexplicably, these fit LOOSER at the waist then my 874's. I don't get it. I'll never get it it. If Dickies could figure out the slim waist, I would buy more. Until then, it's 874's for me all the way. And before you dismiss me as some old, "get off my lawn" guy, just remember this: "get off my lawn" guy invented the phone you play on, built the house you sleep in and fooled around with your mom behind the handball court in 5th grade. A lot of people struggle to find the right fit in Dickies 874's, so you might want to try a pair on in store before considering buying them online. That being said, once you find your fit you're golden. Despite being work pants that have no give in their material, they're just so comfortable in my opinion. Maybe that's because I've become used to slimmer fit jeans, so I notice the roomier legs more. On that note, I've noticed that the leg opening and the legs all the way through are wider than they used to be years ago, so they're not gonna look great with smaller footwear. Just something to keep in mind.

Super Hose das Material ist weicher der Schnitt genau richtig nicht zu Baggi flexibel Nein und Ja aber irgendwie eher am Bund aber der Stoff ist allgemein gerade wenn Neu bei der Klassischen Dickies wie Karton.Diese hier hat auch keine so betonte Bundfalte am Bein alles wie gehabt alle Stylischen Vorteile aber einige Nachteile sind beseitigt klare Kaufempfehlung
