The ingredients list is short and recognizable, which I appreciate. Ethical Sourcing: One of the things that makes Tony’s different is their commitment to 100% slave-free chocolate. I can’t verify the supply chain myself, but as a consumer, I appreciate companies that are transparent with their mission. They include a quick explanation inside the wrapper, which is educational and made me more aware of the cocoa industry overall. Portion Size & Value: The bar is 6.35 oz, noticeably larger than the average chocolate bar, so the price makes sense. You really only need a couple pieces at a time because it’s rich. Overall: If you like chocolate that tastes artisan without the artisan price tag, Tony’s Chocolonely is worth it. I’d buy this again and I want to try more flavors—especially the dark chocolate and the pretzel toffee one. This bar feels like a treat, makes a great gift, and supports a brand trying to make a difference.
