Does it work with the vevor flex shaft s-r ?

I'm not familiar with how the pieces attach on the Vevor, but it looks like it goes to 18,000 rpm. This handpiece must be operated at 5,000 rmp or less otherwise it will overheat. I have the Prodigy and use a speed control to reduce the rmp to 5,000.

It works great in setting stones in bezels. I use a bezel roller first to secure the stone, but I lack the strength to push hard. Then this hammer works great at punching the metal down onto the stone. You do need to be careful and hammer slowly or you could break the stone or even damage the handpiece. Limit the speed on your rotary tool. This handpiece also works with a graver to do engraving.

This is for folsomrose. What kind of speed control do you use on the Prodigy flex shaft to keep it below 5000 rpm? Thank you!

My husband had an older speed controller that works for this. He used it for a router. It has a switch for variable or full speed. I switch it to variable and set the dial for about 20-25% power. It looks like Amazon has several similar speed controllers for routers and Foredom makes one but it's more expensive.
