Love these things. Work great and even get pics from an area with suspect cell signal. Great way for me to monitor a property.

I’ve had a deceptor max original up for over a year with the stealth cam solar charger and have never had any issues whatsoever. It’s a great camera so I bought two of the 2.0’s. They are so sensitive to movement though. I cleared as much as I could in front of the camera’s, grass, small branches, etc. They both take so many pictures of nothing whenever there’s a breeze. I’ve been using trail cameras for years and this is the worst I’ve ever encountered. I even called the help line to make sure I had all the settings correct, and I did. In about a weeks time 600 pictures gone mostly of nothing. My original Deceptor Max is still up and running fine just like it always has during all this. The farthest cam is maybe 350 yards away from that one so weather should’ve been the same. If I were to buy any more I’d get the original Deceptor Max not the 2.0’s. They’re cheaper and they work better anyway.

Easy to setup and connected to the cell network where others would not. Pictures are very good quality so far. Live view takes a while to load, but could be due to cell signal being low in the area. Battery life is great so far and motion activation has great range.

Garbage! Stops working randomly. Sends hundreds of pictures then won't send any. The cell subscription is a scam. Then when you call for tech support its in India and you can't understand what they are saying. I will never buy again!

I purchased a two-pack of Deceptor Max 2.0 cellular trail cameras. One camera works great, but the other brand-new unit would not activate on the cellular network. I called tech support, and they quickly agreed to replace it under warranty (a common issue, perhaps?). I returned the faulty camera—at my own expense—and it was received at their warehouse 21 days ago. Since then, I haven’t received a replacement or any communication from Stealth Cam. I’ve been a long-time Stealth Cam customer, but this experience makes me question whether I’ll continue with the brand or switch to another.
