Design intuitive navigation for the ideal user experience Hundreds of thousands of Web designers and developers have relied on web usability expert Steve Krug's guide to help them understand the principles of intuitive navigation and information design. Witty, commonsensical, and eminently practical, it's one of the best-loved and most recommended books on the subject. Fresh perspectives and examples New chapter on mobile usability Still short, profusely illustrated...and best of allโfun to read If you've read it before, you'll rediscover what made Don't Make Me Think so essential to Web designers and developers around the world. If you've never read it, you'll see why so many people have said it should be required reading for anyone working on websites. "After reading it over a couple of hours and putting its ideas to work for the past five years, I can say it has done more to improve my abilities as a Web designer than any other book." โJeffrey Zeldman, author of Designing with Web Standards Review: Itโs like a bible in usability testing - I love this book. Itโs so well-written that I didnโt scan. Review: Good run through of advice, but not without flaws - The author means well and gives a good fly through of improving usability on web sites. However, there is kind of a creeping "mother knows best" atmosphere to a lot of the content. I would have appreciated a little deeper dive into the psychology of usability from a more scientific standpoint and less from the author's experience serving his clients. Also, in an age where so much can be measured with Google Analytics, little attention was given to approaching tests scientifically or backing up assertions with examples of client data.

Classic, updated.
This book has been a classic since the first edition came out. It has been nicely updated and still reads well with relevant lessons for all who have any involvement with Web Usability.
