Nice Tool
I've never made my own cables before, but the VCELINK RJ45 Crimp Tool with An Adjustable Knob, All-In-One Ethernet Crimper tool makes it easy for a beginner like me to make whenever I need to. For 20$ was worth every penny. It feels easy to work with, It feels sturdy in my hands not feeling like it will fall apart. I made some Cat6A indoor cable and outdoor shielded. Only downside I found for this tool is on outdoor thicker cable it cuts a little to deep so you will have to be gentle when stripping the thick wire sets. The wire diagram on the back helps out if you forget where each wire is suppose to be.

I love it, the adjustable knot come very handy, the only problem will come with it, I feel like the bottom tab pusher doesn't push as much as other old school style crimpers, either way, this are pretty good, I would recommend it.

As an electrician, i can say this is a no nonsense functional design. I prefer this over the harbor freight model for rapid consistent knock outs in small panel enclosures.

Good crimper
Works well, as intended, the cable crimp (for the back end sheath) is adjustable for cat 6, 7, and 8. I've tried a couple of crimpers and some dont fully cut all the pairs at the end, or some have overhangs, this doesnt (at least the one i got). Only gripe is that crimpers are always bulky.

Great value bit of kit
Never made my own patch cables but with a fair bit of cable left after an installation I bought this and some plugs. Fiddly to get wires into plug but not difficult then into this medium pressure repeat at other end and you got custom length patch cable. No waiting, neat job. Feels well made easy to use, good price good value.

very good price as well. only cost a fraction of the small tool with a well known brand.

Works well for me
I switched to passthrough CAT connectors and was amazed at how much easier these were to use. However, my existing (non-passthrough) crimper couldn't cut the protruding wires short enough to allow the latch on the connectors to engage. None of my side cutters did it either. Got this and it works perfectly. (Mine cuts all 8 wires, each time, no problem.)

Not perfect but recommend.
Really well made, one snag outer jacket cutter nicks inner insulation, couldn't see any adjustment.
