I was having a hard time finding just the right spotlight!!! This has an RF remote which means it can even work through walls!!! It is so amazing with all of the features on the remote. I set mine to turn on and stay on for 8 hours and they will automatically turn on at the same time each day!!!

If you are looking for variable brightness, adjustable focus / beam width, and variable color temperature, at low cost, this delivers those features. However, the low cost is reflected in the build quality. The range of brightness is impressive, although with my sample the remote control is sluggish when it comes to adjusting brightness. Also the brightness steps are coarse, especially at the low end. This seem odd as the remote adjusts color temperature much more responsively and fluidly. The color temperature range is impressive. The 6500K setting accurately matches my MediaLight Mk2 v2 Flex CRI 98 6500K White Bias Lighting, so the art lighting blends perfectly with the TV bias lighting beneath it. However, I found one time (Update: It happened twice now.) that the light changed its color temperature by itself without input from the remote. (An an earlier reviewer noted that theirs turned on by itself.) The focus "zoom" range also provides a lot of useful flexibility for determining how wide a light pattern is provided. But I have concerns with the manufacturing precision and design detail. The focal mechanism is very loose and sloppy, likely reflecting coarsely machined threads. So I added some electrical tape to provide additional friction between the main tube and the lens tube that rotates for focus adjustment. Otherwise I think that accumulated normal household vibrations could actually be enough to change the focus over time. As noted in other reviews the light also gets hot, especially at brighter settings, so I would be concerned that it isn't engineered especially well for longevity. Wall or ceiling mounting requires the base plate to be removed from the housing and screwed directly to the mounting surface. Then the light housing must be remounted to the base. This requires removing and reinstalling two small screws, and includes some fiddling to align the screw holes when reinstalling - not particularly fun when working at the ceiling. A better design would use circumferentially aligned "key-hole" style holes in the base plate, allowing the light to placed over the mounting screws and then rotated to attach or detach. (You may note from the photo that I needed to disassemble mine anyway to shorten the cord length for my application.) Bottom-line, this works as advertised, mostly, though not entirely, well. I also have concerns, based on the build quality, that it may not provide a long useful life.

These are quite small, yet that can be an advantage if you want something quite minimal and compact. [This is very compact!] Exact dimensions are given in the product description. Also, although this is only 10 watts, it is common for these and also mentioned in the product description that they do get hot...just as any bulb would, only these are at floor or table level and would want to be placed where they have a little clearance and clear air flow. As a spotlight, they pack a lot of punch. You not only get the adjustable angle for spotlighting, but the width of the directed light which can be zoomed out or in. The color temperature is adjustable from cool white to warm. The dimmer drops nice and low and the brighter settings are striking. The remote is convenient and is made to work even at some distance or between walls. I'm able to use it from the next room at easily 30 ft. So it's a powerful remote which really expands options. Photos intended to show color temperatures, dim/brightness and angle options. Nothing to assemble. Works straight out of the package and the remote is just a long hold for connection setup. Timer allows for 2 up to a full 8 hours of programmable automatic light shut-off. Lighting can add so much atmosphere. I will enjoy the new options this creates in my home. *Update: Changing up to Five Star. These are remaining completely cool at dimmer settings which are more than adequate for desired brightness and still gives me a fairly full dimming/brightness range with bulb temperature remaining cool. Impressed.

These are so nice. My issue is that if you want to place them in separate rooms, you can't, unless you purchase another means of cutting it on remotely You only receive one remote.

I have a numner of these small accent lights, which are really effective at highlighting small features in a room. A lot of people don't realize how important accent lighting is to completing the decor of a room, but with these lights and a little effort, you can transform the look of a room by using lighting to lead they eye to the highlights you want to showcase. These lights from Junview are better than the others I have. First, they're adjustable to a wide range of color temperatures. Second, they can be zoomed from a tight focused beam to a wider flood-style beam. Third, it comes with a remote. With respect to the remote, note that you must use the remote to change the color temperature and to dim or brighten the lights, as there are no controls on the light for these purposes (there is an in-line on and off switch, and the zoom is adjusted by hand). There is also a timer function on the remote, although I don't use this feature. These lights have a good weight, as they are made largely of metal, and the head of the light can be freely swivelled to get the beam exactly where you want it. The lights are bright in a small area, so long as you are using them to highlight smaller objects like plants and artwork, but they're certainly not going to light up an entire wall. There are similar lights out there that are priced the same but lack some of these features, so the price to quality ratio for this light is excellent.

These are nice, bright, compact accent lights. I needed them for ceiling use, and the included cables are hard to hide, so probably not great for this purpose. (I jury-rigged an in-wall extension, but I'll probably cut the cables and attach them to a switch at some point). Included remote allows full adjustment of color temp (cool to warm) and brightness and they have adjustable zoom / width via manipulating the lens. Very bright, which is great compared to my previous option. Use these in a tight corner, to light plants or smaller artwork (2 together work well for a larger 36" wide artwork). Great price, and seem very well built compared to my previous set.

I have always been obsessed with up-lights. The last ones I had were can lights that took standard spot bulbs. LED’s have changed everything with uplights: they’re small, dimmable, color temp change and have a timer. I use them in corners, behind furniture I tend to place there (unknowingly Feng Shui…it just feels right). These add such dimension to the lighting in the room. Photos are with and without the lighting fixture on. It’s I keep them on all night because I enjoy the vibe. They’re adjustable so you can aim the light where you want and can be dimmed down or up to your liking. You can also pair the 2 together so the remote operates both, but I don’t have use for that feature at the moment. Highly recommend!

I like these a lot, small, and a wide range of light adjustment, (dim is really dim). My only complaint is that sometimes they turn on without any input. Not sure why, I know is not a power cut because after a real power cut they come on white/bright, but when randomly switching on (3 times in a week) returns to previous setting.
