A great starter machine
The Good: Easy to put together, great resistance, great instructions for assembly. The Bad: Put aside at least 3.5 hours for assembly (and plan to have to take breaks), the cable is a bit short (though you can get an extender online easily), don't expect the top cable to go past your waist if you are standing. The bottomline - Great, affordable starting/intermediate machine. If you're not a hardcore lifter, the 150 is plenty to work with. I highly recommend it.

Millions of pieces, but great end product
Took 7 hours to build, but worth the effort. Good build quality and multifunctional. Could be a little more smooth while operating.

Solid equipment for the price
Overall I am happy with the performance of the equipment. Quality is fairly solid and it just looks nice. However, there are a few things to note for anyone interested in buying: - It took me 3 hours to assemble. I didn't mind as I love to build stuff out of the box, but for your average Joe, it may not be as enjoyable. - Length of cables isn't that long. I am 5'7" and I stretched the cable until its hit the equipment. I have to be mindful to not overextend. Anyone over 6' will have even bigger issues. - Attachments that came with equipment aren't the best, will probably need to buy separate ones.

Adequate Beginner's Gym
I'm not quite 6' tall and I'm somewhat skinny, and I barely fit on this thing. However, its a decent machine. Needs longer pull distance as you can hit the limit without a complete rep, but it's adequate for a light home gym. Semi-quiet operation and easy to set up if you are patient with the directions. If you're high maintenance, find someone else to do it. I've attached pics as it progressed.

Nice equipment
So far so good. Sturdy and functions as expected. Fairly easy to assemble.

Mostly good - multiple engineering and workmanship flaws that could easily be fixed
Pretty decent home gym for the price. You can do a variety of exercises on it. It is solid construction and was fairly easy to assemble (though it took a long time). The overall workmanship isn't great. One of the weight number labels had no adhesive on it. I don't like the huge instructional sticker that's on it. I wish that didn't come pre-installed (it's like the only thing that is). The Marcy sticker is falling off after < 2 weeks. There are a TON of scratches on the metal frame. I don't expect it to be perfect but it's a lot of scratches in the paint all the way down to the bare metal. I'm not sure how anyone can do hamstring curls with it. The leg bar is too low and not adjustable. I think people with really short legs can do it. I'm not in love with the way the leg / curl lower pulley system works. It pulls up on the hinged leg bars. Overall a pretty OK home gym. It takes up less room than a BowFlex and is only a little less versatile.

Marcy: A good starter
This is an entry level home gym setup. I purchased it on sale to use for specific exercises recommended by my physical therapist. It will certainly meet my needs. I have a lot of experience assembling large and small items. For me the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I also felt the quality of parts fit their application. The unit was packed well, and arrived in perfect condition. As people move to more involved equipment, this model ends up on the resale market a lot. They all look good, showing the durability of the parts. I’m happy with the purchase. My only wish is that Marcy, like other manufacturers, would produce an app that demonstrates the various exercises that can be performed on it. You either need personal guidance from a pro, or have to search the web for options.
