Ipevo CDCU-04IP VX-1 Internet Conference Station for Conference Calls and Remote Meeting

Mic works great, but speaker isn't loud enough (you need to be sitting right next to this device), and the plug & play connection doesn't work 50% of the time, forcing me to power on/off or plug/unplug multiple times before my PC recognizes this device. Could be Windows 10? I have this connected to my surface pro 3 docking station.

Although the first one sent did not work at all, the second one did. Unfortunately I had to swallow the price of the overnight shipping though.It seemed to work well for all -- those in the room and those calling in. I would have liked it to be slightly louder however.

After trying to do a few calls with this device I've decided to retire it. If you are in a quiet office and can sit right next to the speaker then you'll probably be able to hear just fine, but even a few feet away I had trouble hearing people with the volume all the way up. The speakerphone built into my phone is louder. The microphone in this device is fantastic, and clearly picks up regular volume voices from the other side of the room, its just a shame that the speaker couldn't keep up.

Bought this for home office use as I'm conference calls a lot of the time and I hate headsets. Plug & Play with Mac Air and Skype/Hangouts/Webex. Sound quality is top notch, full duplex and no echoing/lag. Not the cheapest option, but best bang for the buck and is comparable to Polycoms. Not really great for use with a mobile phone. Would recommend and buy again.

When I spotted the IPEVO CDCU-04IP VX-1 INTERNET CONFERENCE STATION FOR CONFERENCE CALLS AND REOMOTE MEETING it sparked my interest. I write for a dog rescue group’s newsletter, and every couple of months we connected through conference calling. I thought this would be a great way to listen in while taking notes.The setup is easy, though it took me a while to realize I had to plug the device into the computer as well as my cell phone. I was hoping that wouldn’t be the case. That I could just plug my phone in and have a better sounding speaker with greater control. However, that was not the case.To test the INTERNET CONFERENCE STATION I played a video from my phone. I was surprised at how soft and muffled it sounded. When I unplugged it, my phone was ten times louder and clearer. Great device. I always have it ready for conference calls. If I don't want to bother anyone else I throw on headphones and the sound clarity on my voice is superb. I also use it in large video conference calls and it provides the perfect combination of omni-sound mic and speaker. Love it.

Just installed in our small-ish conference room.. Boss loves it and has asked to have more ordered. Sound quality is excellent. Setup was 3 minutes. No pairing required. Cables are good length. Excellent Product

Perfect. Super Easy to use and fantastic mic and sound

Product looks good but is bigger than it seems, can be used only using external power if with an iPad AND on trial, the sound of the speaker did not seem especially better than that of a standard mobile speaker you would use with your cell phone. Not used for conversation yet, so mics not tested. Seems to be the only product to offer 4 unidirectional mics together with one multidirectional.
