This stuff is great! I've used another brand of water soluble stabilizer on various machine embroidery projects for several years. It wasn't available, I needed the stabilizer quickly (not available in my small town), this one had good reviews so I took a chance. I'm glad I did! The test run for this stabilizer was a trial machine embroidery stitchout of a lace design on single white gauze. When I unrolled the stabilizer I immediately noticed it was thinner than my usual brand. Two thoughts crossed my mind: 1) will this stabilizer support my design, and 2) will it wash away cleanly or turn my design into concrete! I'd soon have my answers. I decided to hoop 2 layers stabilizer, gauze and 1 more layer of the stabilizer floated. This stabilizer supported the design beautifully. And, after about a 30 minute soak in tepid water, the stabilizer completely washed away. I didn't feel that slick residue when water soluble doesn't completely wash away. Once dry, the design retained reasonable flexibility and detail on the gauze. This H.B.I. Wash Away Water Soluble Stabilizer is excellent. Cuts easily, hoops and drum tightens easily. Washes away cleanly. Provides great support for machine embroidery. This has become my favorite water soluble stabilizer!

Good quality product. Works as you would expect a water soluable stabiler to work. I used it for many free standing lace projects and it was great.

I really like the size of this stabilizer. It's perfect for 5 x 7 hoop and 4 x 4 hoop. Its less waste of stabilizer. I'll keep buying this one.

Completely dissolves in warm water, leaving your design clean and without bulk. I was very happily surprised by the quality. It performs as was as the Pellon brand I was using, I'd recommend it. It's on a roll for convenience and ease of use, I cut what I need. No waste! Great stability with my light weight material for embroidery! I'd recommend it.
