A High Quality Sprayer — Just Assemble It Carefully
The VEVOR Wheeled Sprayer works great and far surpasses the abilities of a unit I borrowed from my neighbor. It's well built and feels solid once you have it assembled. However, before deciding to purchase it, I noticed a number of buyers were complaining that it leaks. During assembly, I learned it's critical to make sure you use the right washers on the hose connection points. Otherwise, it's almost guaranteed to leak. Unfortunately, VEVOR's manual doesn't make it easy to decide which washers to use because the manual doesn't provide much explanation. And to make matters worse, all the washers are just thrown together in a bag. (See below for hints and suggestions on best assembly techniques.) PROS 1. Made of heavy duty plastic. 2. Oversized wheels move the unit easily. 3. The pressure of the spray is adjustable. 4. Metal wand and brass spray head work great. 5. Does not leak a drop of liquid — if assembled correctly. 6. Comes with with straps that allow you to convert it to a backpack sprayer. 7. They include extra: fuses, washers, hub caps, spray heads and two wands. CONS 1. The hose is too long — an 8-foot hose would have sufficed as the longer hose just gets in the way. I'm going to replace mine with a shorter six-foot one — which for me will be perfect. 2. Battery should have been a Lithium Iron-Phospate (LiFePO4) instead of lead-acid. Strangely, that's exactly what VEVOR uses in their smaller backpack unit. Also, as others have stated, the battery in the wheeled version is kind of an oddball. However, Amazon does sell replacements if you need one. The battery in mine is a LC-RA127R272 — 12 volt 7.2 amp hour battery. 3. Inside of tank was wet with moisture. They must have pressure tested the tank before shipping it. Unfortunately, they didn't allow it to fully dry out. So, when I opened it up to retrieve the extra parts, it was wet. Thankfully, they must have used distilled water because there was no mold or bacteria buildup. 4. The manual doesn't provide enough guidance on which washers to use or where they go. And they don't go into much detail on how to assemble the sprayer. That said, it's not rocket science, just take your time and you'll figure it out by looking at the manual and the various pictures that have been posted. 5. They use a connection to charge the battery that's better suited for a PC. It works, but a simpler design would be an improvement. Note: I did not test the backpack option (shoulder straps and belt) because I am never going to use it that way. It weighs 55 pounds when filled with water. * * * * * Assembly Hints:and Suggestions 1. I recommend using the metal wand and brass spray head for general purpose spraying. It allows you to go from a fogging spray to a solid stream and everything in-between with just a couple of twists of the spray head. 2. Use the smallest green silicone washers to connect the hose to the tank and to the plastic handle. And use three wraps of the Teflon tape (clockwise) to help seal the connection. CAUTION: Be sure and not put any Teflon tape beyond the end of the brass fitting. If a piece comes off it will plug up your sprayer! Tighten the nut on the hose until it starts to snug up and then turn it another 1/4 turn (no more) to make sure it's secured. On mine, there was a preinstalled clear silicon washer on the end of the metal wand to which I attached the brass spray head. 3. The plastic spray wand works reasonably well. But after some testing, I decided I preferred the metal wand with the brass spray head. 4. Lay out all the washers on a table before you try to install them. (They include extras.) If you're not sure which washer to use, carefully tip one side of the washer into the connection point to see if it's going to be a good fit. CAUTION: Do not seat it all the way. Once installed, they are tough to remove. If, however, you accidentally put the wrong one in, you can remove it with a fine pair of tweezers or a small jeweler's slotted screwdriver. Unfortunately, VEVOR doesn't make it very clear which washer is supposed to fit into which connection. They do show sizes next to the washers, but they don't tell you if the measurements are metric or inches. 5. The axle for the tires fits through a slot near the bottom. It would be a good idea to use a rubber mallet to pound it through because they have designed it to be a very snug fit. Yes, you can use a metal hammer, just be careful not to hit the tank or you may crack it. 6. Be sure to leave the same amount of space on both sides of the axle for the tires. Install metal washers on both the inner edge of the axle and the outer edge of the tire. This will prevent excessive wear on the plastic and extend the life of the sprayer. 7. Now, install cotter pins through the holes on each side of the axle and bend them backwards so they won't come loose. Then, install the small gray plastic hubcaps to cover the cotter pins and axle. If you ever need to remove a hubcap. You can loosen it by prying inward on one of the connection clips on the backside of the tire with a small slotted screwdriver. It should pop right off without breaking, since it's made of a tough nylon plastic. 8. Once you're done spraying, rinse and drain all the water out of the tank and let it completely dry out. Otherwise, you may come back a few weeks later and find it full of mold and mildew. 9. I am considering replacing the lead-acid battery with a LiFePO4 one; since I already have the charger and swapping it out should be relatively easy. Amazon sells a 12-volt, 10 amp hour LiFePO4 batteries.that will fit in this sprayer and increase the spraying time by at least 30%. Plus, they'll last for years; since they are designed to take 4,000 to 10,000 recharge cycles before they die.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Much Better Than Expected — Strong Battery, Great Spray Options, Perfect for Hillsides
I honestly didn’t expect to give this sprayer five stars because the reviews were mixed, but it has performed way better than expected. I’ve pumped over 100 gallons of chemicals through it so far and everything has worked exactly as advertised. The battery handled three full tanks with no drop in performance, and the long hose has been a lifesaver. Most of what I needed to spray was on a hillside, so being able to leave the tank below and walk the hose up the slope made the job simple compared to a backpack sprayer. I also really like how comfortable the trigger is and how easy it is to spray with the different nozzles. The variety of spray heads has been genuinely useful, whether I needed a tight stream, a fan pattern, or something in between. Everything had consistent pressure and good control. For my use case, this sprayer has been fantastic. Strong pump, long reach, and excellent sprayability with all the nozzle options.

Dead on arrival, unique battery design makes replacement difficult
I ordered this to simplify bi-weekly spraying of my lake house lawn and house. The Vevor 4 gallon sprayer arrived at a medium delivery pace but packaged well for safe transport. I own several Vevor products and like the value they provide for the decent quality of the equipment. This 4 gallon bug sprayer is unfortunately not one of those quality+value products. The sprayer was extremely simple to assemble (just screw an aluminum tube or plastic tube to the trigger handle and select a tip) and I found it straightforward to secure the straps to the sprayer backpack bottle. I tried texting for battery power immediately when I opened the package but did not see any LEDs indicating power. I assumed I possibly had to charge it so I let it charge overnight. The Vevor sprayer chargers with an included plug that has a single small LED indicating charging status. Red indicates “charging” and I assume that it either turns off or changes to green when fully charged, however, I will never know as mine did not charge. I tried the Sprayer the following morning and it still would not power on. I assumed it may be slightly an intelligent design and that I might need liquid in the sprayer to close a circuit, assuming that it auto shuts off so the pump doesn’t run dry. I filled it halfway up with water and again flipped the power switch, turned the dial all the way up, and tried again….still nothing. I inspected the battery to ensure the positive and negative terminals were securely attached to wiring, which I could see were secure and properly attached. The battery itself is rather large but extremely light in weight. It literally weighs similar to a fake demonstration battery I would MUCH rather prefer that Vevor utilized a Dewalt battery receptacle or any standard tool company battery which would make replacing batteries very simple. I would not recommend this to others based off my experience.

Decent value.
I have had this for about a month and used it to spray my yard 4-5 times to apply liquid fertilizer and bio stimulants. It's not perfect but more than sufficient to get the job done. What I like: 1. It's light. I'm in my early 50s and in average shape and find lugging this around with 2 gallons of mixture very doable. 3-4 gallons would probably be doable as well. 2. It doesn't leak. Use the teflon tape when you assemble it. The only time it leaked on me was when the hose connection to the tank had loosened after picking it up and putting it down many times. Just make sure you check that this connection is still tight before spraying anything nasty. Also, I probably under tightened it when I first assembled the product.. 3. It comes with lots of nozzels. 4. Has variable PSI range. Not just high or low. 5. Battery last a long time. I am able to spray my 13,000 square foot property with juice to spare. Things I don't like: 1. The red fan spray nozzle was heavy on the extreme left and right of the pattern so it wasn't really usable. I ended up replacing it with an XR Teejet 11004 VS nozzle. 2. The teejet nozzle did not fit in the provided elbow. I had to modify the elbow slight with a file or razor blade to make it fit. You can get additional elbows cheaply on amazon that come with a selection of cheap nozzles. Some of these will fit a the teejet without modification. 3. It would be nice if it came with a turbo flood jet style of nozzle for production that need to be watered into the lawn. I ended up buying the white teejet turbo flood jet nozzle for this purpose. 4. The hose connection to the tank can loosen over time. It would be nice if there were some way hold the end of the hose fixed to the tank so that it can not rotate over time. I might trying attaching a quick connect fitting at this point to remedy the issue. It's really not a big deal though. Just take that this connection is still tight every so often. 5. Not sure if the battery is really lithium. It looks very much like a generic lead acid. It's get the job done so whatever. I would recommend this product to a friend or neighbor. It's reasonably priced and gets the job done. Any struggles that I have had with it are largely due to my own inexperience with sprayers. If you are new to spraying then I recommend practicing with just water. Try out the various nozzles on your driveway or street to see how they cover.

Entry-Level Battery Sprayer Delivers Impressive Start
Reviewing the 3.2 Gal VEVOR battery powered backpack sprayer. The price was right compared with other battery powered sprayer options, so I was fine knowing it was going to be an entry level product. Upon opening, I made sure each connection had one of the O-rings installed, which they did, and I made sure to use the provided plumbers tape on each of the threaded connections. I'd highly recommend taking a few minutes to do the same. I charged the battery for a few hours, used the fan tip nozzle and the metal wand, and it worked perfectly on my 5,000 sq ft lawn. You can lock the sprayer in the on position, and when I did that at the beginning of spraying, the spray stream was consistent and perfect for my whole yard. The power dial goes from low to high, and setting it in the middle, 50%, seemed to be the sweet spot. Can't speak to longevity yet, but initial use reaction is an impressive one.

With the exception of bad instructions this spayer is freaking awesome.
I took a big chance on this sprayer as at the time of my purchase there wasn't any reviews. The quality of the build and accessories and large Lithium battery was the selling point. Initially the unit does not come with the straps installed and the instructions might as well have been in Greek. But looping a belt was not a hard thing for me, but might give others some trouble so I added a couple of pictures on how I looped mine. Over all I have used this sprayer for around a few weeks on and off. The battery lasts as long as your back can and more. Just don't leave the switch on and forget it for a few days unplugged. It will drain it. I stuck with the original brass tip and wand and it is both easy to hold and trigger for hours on end. I did have an initial issue with the gaskets but upon a good tightening, it has not leaked since. It has more than enough power to spray anything you would want to and enough accessories to fit almost any spraying needs. It is a 4 gallon sprayer, so keep in mind that it isn't going to be light when full. But the good part is that it keeps getting lighter as you keep spraying. The hose is top quality and will last for years. The wand is adjustable so if your tall or short, you will find the right length. The switch is fairly easy to reach when on your back and the dial for spray intensity is right next to it. The knob is in the accessory bag so keep that in mind when you first get it. I thought it was missing at first opening. The straps are easy on the shoulders and the ribbed back pad help keep the sweat down. The cross strap is absolutely essential in keeping this thing where it needs to be. Proper adjustment is going to depend on your size and height. The one thing I would have really liked to have is a wand holder on the straps. The one they put on the top is honestly pointless as the wand is taller than the sprayer. I fill this and put it on my table and simply strap it up at that level. Much easier than trying to do this from the floor. The large opening makes it easy to fill and the over all quality seems very good. They just need to fix the instruction book by someone who uses these things and attach the straps from the factory. It would save them from a lot of frustrated customers. I would definitely recommend this sprayer to anyone looking for a good quality sprayer in this size. Hopefully the price doesn't go to the moon.

A solid DIY backpack sprayer at a good price.
Vevor seems to be producing ALL kinds of products. Just check out their website; literally "anvils" to "zip lines". I may be getting lazy in my old age, but I got tired of pumping my sprayer when I was spraying for weeds in my lawn. I came across this sprayer when it was on sale (Vevor tends to run really good sales on their items at times). I have had great luck with this one. It comes with multiple attachment heads. The construction is primarily plastic, but it does not seem to be too thin. Motor is strong. Battery life is good. The five stars is for how well it worked out of the box. Concerns down the line: I hope the plastic holds up to use. I hope the plastic does not deteriorate due to chemicals. I hope the motor continues to work well. I hope the battery life continues to be strong. I have to figure out if there are any additional batteries I can buy for it. OVERALL: A good sprayer out of the box for price paid. I consider this to be a solid DIY backpack sprayer at a good price point. Not sure it would survive industrial use.

Good sprayer but has issues
Easy to assemble, battery seems to last awhile and it’s easy to use. The problem I have is the sprayer extension now has pin holes in it everywhere. This is the 2nd extension I’ve gotten and both have done the same thing. I haven’t tried the plastic extension yet, but the metal ones are terrible. If they could fix this issue it would be a quality sprayer. The gaskets are also pretty cheap and leak often. For the price it’s a decent sprayer.
