Create This Book 2

This is a great way for all ages to get their creative juices flowing. It’s got a bunch of prompts that you can use if you’re having some creative blockage. This is a way to get you back into the swing of things. The person who created this book is named Mariah Elizabeth she is a YouTube channel called ME I haven’t followed her for that long but she has really cute creative YouTube videos where she does this book so you can do the art with her do it with your family just have a good time and be creative together really makes it feel like adults can do crafts it’s not just for kids so far I really really like your channel and I turned in every Friday for her new videos

Good quality Pages

Even if you don't know Moriah Elizabeth, this book would be a great gift or fun creative project for anyone! No matter the age. Honestly it comes with pages and pages and pages of fun artistic ideas and I highly recommend it for any of your artists in your life!

Kiddo and I are both fans of Moriah. Their birthday is coming up and they asked if they could maybe get one of the Create books. They’d mentioned it before, and they didn’t know I’d already made the order. The book is pretty thick for a prompt book, compared to others I’ve bought in the past. The cover is a nicely textured, thick stock. I’m surprised at how many people complain about the book being exactly what it is… a prompt book is one with several prompts in it to kickstart your creative process. Most PBs have two to four small spaces for very vague prompt fills like “draw a fish” or “self portrait”. The ones in ME’s book are creative, fun, and easily adapted to many art styles & creative ways of thinking. I plan on taking a tip from Moriah and getting them some mod podge to go with it, so they can seal each page as they finish.

My kiddo is super into Moriah Elizabeth so it was a no-brainer to get this for Christmas. She is having a great time working through the book, i think it will take her a year to finish at this rate as she spends a ton of time with each prompt. However, be prepared for the pages to BLEED THROUGH if you use any sort of Marker. My daughter has had to switch to colored pencils for the remainder of the book as the pages are just too thin for markers. If she does use markers, she uses a separate sheet of paper for it, cuts it out and glues it into this book which is fine, but it makes the book extra thick. The pages are also not very big and they are difficult to keep open due to the binding. If this was spiral bound with thicker, slightly larger pages it would be 5-star perfect!

Very cool book for children

My daughter LOVES Moriah Elizabeth. While I don't exactly get the youtube stardom thing, I love how my daughter has delved into art because of her. Her artwork has grown leaps and bounds during this pandemic. And this book (both 1 & 2) made ME love Moriah Elizabeth. My daughter has spent hours upon hours happily working on these books. These books are my favorite birthday gifts for kids, because they truly love them- AND, I know that their parents will love them, too. I'm not giving them some plastic piece fo junk. I'm giving them hours of non-"screen time" fun and an outlet for their child's imagination. Even if the kid has never heard of Moriah Elizabeth, when they see my daughter's eyes light up talking about her as they open their gift, they get excited, too. (Plus, there's usually at least one other kid who adores Moriah Elizabeth). anyway- seriously, at this price-point, I bought several and keep them in my "birthday drawer" for all of those last-minute kid birthday gifts.
