I want more!
I cannot use the rigid thimbles. I've even tried silicone. I finally decided to purchase leather, after watching a quilter praise them. I ordered this one and it arrived today. I've used it all afternoon, and I absolute love it. I can do what I need to do (thread my needle, etc.), without removing it. It is very comfortable.

Fits nicely
Much easier to use than metal thimble, will order again!

Lovely for cross stitch and hand sewing
I use this thimble on different fingers for cross stitch and sewing, but it works splendidly for both applications. It takes a day or two to form to your finger shape, but once it does, it's quite comfortable

Comfortable
Comfortable like a glove initially, but will stretch and fall off. Unfortunately the needle slips into the side seam. Trying to figure out how to seal the seams. I have used it for 2 days and would buy it again.

Great thimble!
A little snug at first but will break in well. I've been looking for a thimble like this for a long time. Perfect

Great thimble
I've only ever worked with metal thimbles. I disliked them greatly. However, when I received this thimble, it was a smidge too tight, but I figure with use it will stretch a bit. It fits very well and seems to add a great deal of padding so I cannot feel the needle at all when using it. Thanks!

Perfect for knitting
When I knit I have the habit of pushing the tip of the working needle with my left index finger. It makes for a sore finger sometimes. This solves the problem. It’s sturdy and shouldn’t come apart like some of the other leather thimbles I’ve bought for this purpose. It does NOT, however, have a metal bit in the pad of the finger so a sharp sewing or quilting needle could pierce it if you try hard enough. Not an issue for me. For my purposes this is perfect.

Good but not quite.
I’ve been looking for the perfect thimble. I wear one on each hand while doing Spanish goldwork. The Bohin is heavy leather, comfortable and fits well. It is also longer than other leather thimbles, so it stays on.The problem is the seams on the sides let the needle get caught and stick into that space. I may use it some but will probably use my old thimble more. Wish it did not have those seams.
