Kills Fleas (and nearly every other insect)...DEAD!!
I am not a exterminator/pest professional, only a consumer, so therefore the following recommendations should be taken as my personal and not professional advice. At first, I was disappointed at the size of the bottle I received. I did not look closely at the title or the description. However, my disappointment quickly faded, shortly after the first use. I had agreed to dog sit for my friend's Beagles. I went by his house and took my German Shepherd with me to let them play together. A few days later, my friend told me that he noticed his dogs had a pretty good amount of fleas. I held my breath and watched my dogs closely. A couple weeks past, and I began to notice my two dogs scratching. Upon closer inspection, I found my pups were crawling with fleas. My dogs were at the end of their monthly treatment flea cycle and the infestation came at the perfect/worst time. I treated my house once with Bifenthrin. (also purchased on amazon). This did a GREAT job of killing the fleas right away, but after a couple weeks, the new ones hatched and the whole thing started over. I had originally planned to use this IGR for mosquitos next year, but decided to give it a try for the fleas. I'm very glad I did. I mixed this in with another batch of Bifenthrin and spayed the whole house and yard again. I had already retreated the dogs for their monthly flea medication, switching to Advantix II. It took about 5 days before I never saw another flea, but even after the first day of treatment with IGR and Bifenthrin there was a drastic difference. I went from picking off 20 fleas from my German Shepherd to 3. (Yeah, it was bad.) On a side note, if you want to know if your dog has fleas, but he has a thick coat/undercoat, check under his front legs/armpit region, as well as his groin around their business. The skin is soft, moist and exposed in those areas, a flea's paradise. Also, google what flea eggs look like. I had no idea. They look just like dirt! Washing linens, vacuuming, dips and monthly treatments are good mild treatments to a flea infestation, but this product brings the big guns! If you have fleas, buy this product, a jug of Bifenthrin and a 1 Gallon sprayer (I also bought a shoulder strap since the sprayer I bought did not come with one). I attached a picture of the tools you need. Mix 4mL's of this solution and 1oz of the Bifenthrin to one gallon of water for every 1,000 sqft. Wear gloves, long sleeves, mask and goggles if you are spraying upwards. Keep your animals/kids outside/inside respectively till it dries. Vacuum thoroughly. Wash all infested linens. This will end the infestation and you will get your life back! It's a little embarrassing to share all of this information, but hey, it's life and having fleas is MISERABLE, but it can happen, no matter how careful you are, so I wanted to share how I bested them. Lastly, it is important to note that since I sprayed this product & Binfenthrin 2 months ago, I have only seen 3 bugs/spiders, of any variety inside the house. 1 of which was already dead. Hope this helps! Any questions, just ask. -jP

It Works!
I used the combination of Bifen XTS and Nyguard Insect Growth Regulator as recommended in a former review. We live in the edge of the woods and were being driven inside by mosquitos last spring. I sprayed this combo everywhere the instructions said to - bushes, trees, mulch, yard, under the deck, around windows and doors, everywhere under the porch roof and gutters, etc. I sprayed as high as I could in the trees with a backpack type sprayer with a jet nozzle. I sprayed the trees that overhang our second story deck as high and far as I could, and I sprayed the ferns in the woods. I sprayed about a 50 foot perimeter outside the house (I read that mosquitoes rarely travel more than 30 feet from where they hatch). Within 24 hours I noticed a difference. Within 48 hours, I wasn't getting swarmed to and from the car. Within a week, we could sit on the porch and drink our coffee and even spend the whole day there reading and talking and watching the hummingbirds feed. We had several evening dinner parties on the rear deck and under the front porch when it rained, and only a couple of mosquitoes were ever spotted. Anything that managed to squeeze under a door was dead or dying within a foot of the door. We love our outdoor living spaces, and the Bifen XTS / Nyguard combo gave us our outdoor spaces back. We rarely see a bug and almost never a mosquito. I got a tick on me while spraying last year, and that's the last one I ever saw. It's spring again and has been almost a year since spraying, and we are still benefiting from last year's application. We're already enjoying the porch, and there are no mosquitoes. I think the difference we're seeing this spring is due to the Nyguard keeping anything from breeding and laying eggs last year.

AN OUTDOOR NECESSITY TO GET RID OF FLEAS!
We live in the South and have had a terrible time with the fleas the past two summers. We have tried professional spraying, flea collars, granules in the yard, shampoos/dips, you name it and nothing worked. I finally bought this IGR to spray in the yard, along with a flea application for my dogs. Success!! Within a week of spraying, I noticed they weren't scratching and I could see no signs of fleas on their skin!! Three months later (w/out spraying again), we have seen little or no signs of fleas. Best thing ever!

Added protection for pest control
Mixed this with insecticide and sprayed while yard. Got rid of fleas ticks and surprisingly, mosquitoes and pesky flies. Prevents eggs and larva from developing so makes your bug killer more long term. It's been 4 weeks I'm just seeing a few flies around the yard still no mosquitoes or fleas on dogs. I had lots of mosquitos around monkey grass and shrubs. Couldn't stand still for long in evening without getting bit. I love this product. Leaves a little oily residue if sprayed on water and I guess that's why it continues to work even after heavy down pours.

Not as good as I expected
I bought this product to treat fleas after I had a renter move out. After spraying this at the maximum recommended concentration 4 times, I still have fleas in the house. Granted, they are nowhere near as bad as they were. This product is effective, but I'm disappointed with it.

Combined with Demize, effective, maybe not needed.
Mixed as directed in quality sprayer, added suggested portion of Nyguard (for cocoon stage), meticulously sprayed house. Noticeably effective overnight, no fleas seen for 2 days, then a few reappeared. Second spray did the trick, and a third spray a few days later has completely resolved a horrific, difficult indoor and garage (2 indoor cats) flea infestation, previously unresponsive to Raid spray, fleas bombs, and Deet. I had also purchased Conquer to add to the mix but did not use it. Bottles arrived securely taped, in sealed bags, in a reasonable time. Also had a carpenter bee (or horntail wasp) problem in patio framework, so total purchase included Drione dust and a small puffer, which took care of that long-standing problem in 1 application. I also bought Bifen XTS to mix and spray over mown lawn for fleas outside. Not certain that was needed, but infestation was so bad I wanted complete eradication, no survivors, no prisoners. My local Vet had replaced the previously (but no longer) effective Advantage with Cheristin, which took care of the cats. No more scratching was observed. He was interested in learning about the success of the Demize, Nyguard, and Bifen use, and wanted the company contact information. He tells me my community is having a huge problem with fleas this year. All together, the combination was completely effective, somewhat costly, but best price I could find, cheaper than an exterminator, and I have plenty product left over. My only detraction was because the customer service "advisor" didn't really listen to my infestation analysis and seemed more interested in selling as much product as possible. I evidently didn't need the Conquer, and possibly not the Nyguard, but I wasn't taking any chances. Demize works, maybe the Nyguard helped, and I'm not sure if Bifen killed any fleas in the lawn, but the fleas are gone.

Best thing to get rid of fleas!!! Worth it
So glad to have found this product, totally breaks the cycle of flea infestation. Not difficult to apply, this is the best thing I have found to deal with insects. Me and my dog are very happy and flea free. This does not kill fleas, but it will not allow for them to develop. I only used this product and gave my pooch a flea bath and have not seen any fleas since.
