Definitely works as advertised and very easy to use. All you have to do and put pressure on the entire button. Not just the front of the button or just the back of the button. The entire button . The dye come out on the brush. The color stays on , since my hair is very gray I use it once a week as the hair grows and the gray roots start showing after 10 days .

I’m allergic to most hair coloring products like Just for Men, so I was excited to discover Simpler—especially since it’s available on Amazon. I gave Simpler 3 stars, but not because of its effectiveness—I never got to fully try it. My rating is mainly due to the dispenser design. Even after carefully following the instructions and pressing the top of the can completely, the two ingredients wouldn’t dispense evenly (as shown in my video). I think the dispenser could use some improvement. Still, I wanted to see if I could make it work with another purchase, assuming maybe I just got an unlucky can. So, I scooped out a small amount of each ingredient, mixed them, and tested it behind my ear. Unfortunately, the results weren’t what I hoped for (see photo). Needless to say, I won’t be purchasing another can. That said, I want to stress that this review is not meant to discourage others from trying Simpler. Everyone’s experience can be different, and it might work perfectly for you. My main purpose in sharing this is to remind you to do the sensitivity test before applying it to your hair. Skipping that step could land someone in the hospital, and I wouldn’t want that for anyone. Good luck! Hopefully this product works better for you than it did for me.

I am loving this product. I have been coloring my hair for years now, and as I get older, my friends and family keep telling me how great I look with salt and pepper hair and that I should stop coloring it so dark. An ad for partial gray coverage popped up on my feed, so I decided to try it out to see if this product can deliver the best of both worlds…. And it did! I used the darker shade, and at first glance, it appeared to be full coverage and colored my entire head, (which I still loved) but after washing and drying my hair, I did see some gray here and there. Pretty remarkable how this product works. My hair still looks fresh and colored, yet I am still rocking some grays. Pretty happy with the price because the box came with gloves, stain guard, a wipe, and a brush. Also, a little goes a long way with this can, so I can use it over and over again instead of purchasing a box every time I want to color my hair. Excited to use over and over again after my haircuts. I am happy I stumbled across this product. It’s smooth, easy to use, and it didn’t make a mess or irritate my skin. If you are tired of JFM, Simpler is definitely the way to go.

Long lasting color

I have a lot of gray/white hair in my beard and this product did not work well. First time left it on for 7 minutes. It dulled the brightness/whiteness of my beard but did not make a significant difference. Tried it again about a month later and left it on for 12 minutes. It was a little darker but still very grayish/whiteish.

I dont know if I would call it “partial coverage” my dad dyed his mustache, beard and some hair. Combed through left on for a few minutes less than recommended for a true partial coverage look and behold BOLD af. So solid that he shaved it all off. Listen now.. I’ve never in my life seen my dad without a beard or mustache.. he said it looked ridiculous and shaved it all off.. Atleast we got a good laugh out of it. Well maybe more than him.. lol. If you want something to make it look more solid and uniform color I’m sure it will be great if you want a more than partial coverage look.

Works and doesn't over turn ya black hair

Positive: Good/natural product that does not contain harsh chemicals. Negative: Color fades faster than the synthetic dyes. Price is too high for the volume/amount of dye you receive.
