A friend who is a harbor pilot and owns a boat yard recommended it to me. I am on my second sailboat and I just installed my 2nd "Ultra Safety Systems Pump Switch Sr." and I never had a problem in the 11 years I had my first switch. The typical bilge float switch can hang up leaving your pump running constantly. That is what happened on my 2nd sailboat and today I installed my new one.
