I first was introduced to this concept via backpacking in Greece. The "Nescafé Frappe" is a ubiquitous drink sold at EVERY restaurant & cafe across the main land and throughout the islands. It's made with cold water, instant Nescafé coffee (sugar & cream as desired) and mixed with a hand held blender (or container with a tight lid for shaking) which dissolves the coffee crystals into the water and creates this AMAZING coffee froth on the top!!! I bought a "special" Nescafé shaker in Greece to travel with that summer, but now use a mason jar & a sports drink wire mixing ball, with equal success. I am very pleased with this Nescafé particular instant coffee. The flavor is excellent (I only make cold coffee with this, so I can't vouch for how it is hot.) The price is very good as well. I have to have coffee every work day in the morning. It dissolved in cold water too, of course not as well as hot. The price is great on Amazon too; Costco sells the 2 pack as well but last I checked, it's cheaper if you are a subscribe and saver. It's a dark roast and is true to the label.
