Easy to install and works great connecting my receiver and sound bar to my TV

Did not work
Hooked it to my tv and tried to play my home theater and soundbar with it and it did not work even when I unplugged one of the cables and left one plugged in.

Works well. Inserting the audio cables into the female end of the splitter has a funny feel
Using to split sound output from a 65" LG tv to a stereo system and a sound bar simultaneously. It is working fine. Inserting the splitter into the tv went well. Inserting the optical cables into the splitter has a funny rough feel, like it is going in wrong or something. The splitter seems to be symmetrical, that is, you can insert the optical cable upside down 180 degrees out. I tried the cables literally both ways, it made no difference. The cables and splitter worked either way. The female end of the splitter has a tight feel to it, though. Takes quite a bit of effort to remove the cables. The splitter does work fine, however.

Female input jacks doesn't fit Standard Optical Male Cable
The male end is the standard size for optical cable, the two female inputs are much smaller than a standard optical cable and the optical cables won't fit into the adapter.

Not for Samsung
I had ordered a splitter from Amazon made by SiYear, it wouldn't work in either of my two Samsung TV's, so I returned it and they promptly sent me another. This one didn't work either, but since they had good reviews I thought There must be something wrong with my hookup. So, I ordered the Zerone and when it came it didn't work. I had ordered some optical cables and their advice was some optical connectors are just not long enough to make a good connection and to carefully remove a little shoulder so the male end could go it farther. With my Dremal I ground some off the shoulder and Glory, a connection was made and I split the digital signal to my hearing devices. I haven't ground any off the Zerone as yet, but if I do, I bet it will work. I can't believe my Samsungs are unique, these manufactures should either make the connectors a little longer or warn that it might not work in Samsung TV's.

Did not work!
No signal passes through. Not even with just 1 optical cable connected. Yellow connector seems short. Tried with diff systems ( Bose, Sony) waste of money. Thank god Amazon refunded me.
