Love my coffee machine and I honestly can’t have coffee a different way. I do noticed that sometimes it won’t grind the full amount and I have to save that coffee for later and grind a second batch. Other than that machine is great, easy to use and coffee tastes good.

I researched extensively before buying this espresso machine. I came across a number of reports of defective machines but decided to take a chance based on Ninja’s reputation. I’m so glad I did! The machine is extremely solid and well built. It can make everything from regular coffee to espresso to iced coffees. This is a very sophisticated machine and reading the manual is essential for a good result. The coffee produced smells and tastes amazing. The milk frother works better than any frother I’ve had before. The bean hopper holds a large amount of coffee beans which I appreciate. I find the speed of the machine to be good and comparable to other espresso machines I’ve had. I’ve seen reports of the coffee produced being too hot or too cold but mine has been perfect for me for each type of drink. Given the many different types of coffee beverages this machine makes with ease, I highly recommend it. In fact, I went to stay with relatives for a month over the holidays and I took the machine with me!

Omg! Just got mine in and my son and I experimented the last 3 hours! This thing is awesome!!!! We ended up going to the store to get some whip cream and syrups! Perfect every time but the problem is now I may not get any sleep tonight due to how much expresso we drank tonight lol. I love how easy it is to use and clean! The people that wrote bad reviews, I am sorry you found it difficult or less satisfying but I assure you its well worth the money!

Initially functioned great but on the third day of use began displaying an error code, Er 50, shutting down the machine. Online search indicated possible sensor problem with recommendation to reset by unplugging from wall socket and waiting five to ten minutes. This action cleared the error code and then the Install Milk Jug indicator came on even with the milk jug in place. Another internet search revealed this is a known problem with Ninja espresso makers with recommendations of turning the handle of the jug to the right and trying to position the milk jug so that the heavier portion of the jug is towards the rear where it can somehow be better detected. The point being that I didn’t have to give any consideration to those kind of engineering gymnastics for the first two days of use, but then suddenly the placement of the milk jug became crucial and essential on the third day. Thankfully I was able to clear that hurdle and the indicator light shut off. And then the Er 50 error code came back on despite following troubleshooting guidelines in the included documents and online. I actually spent two frustrating hours going through cycle after cycle of Er 50/Install Milk Jug while wasting an entire bag of coffee beans in the hope that the problem would permanently resolve and finally gave up after Er 50 showed up once again. The Ninja AutoBarista is the newest thing as far as I know in their lineup of espresso makers. I’m not sure why they haven’t corrected known issues in this product line but I had no interest in trying again with a replacement and returned this machine for a refund, disappointed because of the high satisfaction I have had with other Ninja products.

We purchased the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro after our previous machine quit working. (Previous was a different brand). The Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro is an amazing machine. We haven’t tried all of the drinks in the recipe book that came with it. But so far we’ve been impressed by the simplicity, the flavor, and the beauty (of the machine and the drinks). The only problem we’ve experienced is that we are so tempted to keep making more coffee drinks when we’ve already had enough for the day.

These ate my takeways so far Pros: -Takes out guesswork in measurements and no technique required -Built in tamper is very helpful -Versatile coffee and frothing styles -Built in storage for baskets and accessories -Luxe basket for brewing 2 drinks at one time -Self cleaning steam wand -Indicators for easy maintainance (more beans, empty water tray, etc.) -Comes apart for easier cleaning -Adjustable stand for espresso cup -Very large water reservoir Cons: -Cold brew is not instantaneous-It brews in small amounts every 20seconds or so instead of all at once -May be noisy to some-beeps every time a process is done, grinder loud, loud brewing -It is quite large and heavy so you will need adequate space and can’t be moved easily -Cant fit all baskets in the storage or portafilter when not in use

I'm very happy with this machine and its ability to make different types of coffee. I don't intend to use it for drip at all, but I've been using it for espresso-type drinks with excellent results. The fact that it makes brewing easy, while still keeping you mostly in control, mostly means you're learning about WHY something is working or isn't working. This machine helps you tweak temperature, strength, and extraction separately. You get guidance, but it's up to you if you listen to it based on what you're trying to extract. Is it perfect? No. It's not meant to be, though. It's meant to be convenient for a beginner. That said, it's expensive, but you do get good functionality for that price. I wanted something that wouldn't take away my ability to tweak, in case I got more into espresso, but if I decided not to I could still get good coffee. This delivers.

The machine might look intimidating but it is super easy to use. The AI barista is helpful and after a few cups that are a little off, you gain the confidence to adjust the grind setting to your taste. There is a way to adjust the temperature of the coffee and the frother. The frother works well. The machine is super easy to clean as well. Altogether its a great machine for coffee lovers who desire to venture into self brewing without making an extremely large investment.
