Amazing for at home haircuts!! WORTH EVERY PENNY I’ve bought a lot of tools over the years to make self-cutting easier, but the Self-Cut System Angel Lights Tripod is on another level. The 3-way mirror makes it super easy to see every angle without constantly adjusting things, and the lighting is bright, even, and adjustable. It’s literally perfect for getting clean blends and detailing. The tripod is sturdy and lets you set the mirror at whatever height you need. Overall, this setup makes self-cutting way more professional and way less stressful. Highly recommend it to anyone who cuts their own hair.

Let’s be honest. No one needs to spend $300 on a self-cut mirror system. Any cheap $20 wall/door mounted tri-fold mirror will work just fine for most. However, if you want the best in terms of looks, features, quality and convenience (and don’t mind paying a premium for it), then the Self-Cut Angel Lights Tripod system may be for you. The tripod stand is super-sturdy. Definitely no unwanted movement/wobbling of the mirror when it is mounted on the tripod and everything is properly tightened down. The integrated LED lights are dimmable and extremely bright. With a full charge, the LED lights last just over 3-1/2 hours at full brightness. So, you should be able to get at least 3-4 grooming/cutting sessions, before needing to recharge the batteries. The adjustable/removable shelf is also a nice touch and provides a convenient place to store some of your tools. For me, the best part of this mirror system is the ability to move & use it anywhere I want. No power cords needed since the LED lights are battery powered, and of course, the tripod stand means you can put it anywhere you want. I’m really loving this self-cut system!

I really wanted to love this product because, at first, it was a game changer. The mirror system made it easy for me to maintain my hair on my own, which is important since I’m in the military and need to keep a consistently professional appearance. I used it every weekend and was genuinely happy with it—until it broke in less than two months. For a product that costs around $300, I expected much better durability. The tripod swivel broke, and now I can’t even mount the mirror anymore, making the entire setup useless. What’s even more frustrating is the customer service experience. When I first reached out to the company, they redirected me to Amazon, essentially asking Amazon to handle the issue. That didn’t sit right with me—why should Amazon take responsibility for a faulty product? When I contacted Amazon, they told me they couldn’t help and advised me to go back to the manufacturer. After going back and forth for over a week with their customer service (specifically a representative named April), I was told I’d have to wait until they restock before they could even consider replacing the broken part. So they have no problem charging a premium price upfront, but when something goes wrong, you’re stuck waiting indefinitely. I’ve also requested a refund and have received no response. Bottom line: great idea, poor durability, and disappointing customer support. For the price, I expected a product—and a company—that stands behind what they sell. I would not recommend this based on my experience.

I did test out the wireless feature briefly, and it’s really convenient. The mirror charges quickly and held the charge well during my first use, so I’m looking forward to using it wirelessly more often. Overall, I’m really impressed right out of the box. The King’s Mirror served me well, but this feels like a next-level upgrade. If you’ve been using the King’s Mirror and are considering something new, the Angel Lights 360 Mirror setup is definitely worth checking out. It’s made my self-cuts feel smoother and more precise already, even just on first use.

Gave this to my husband as part of his birthday gift & he absolutely loved it. We stay in an apartment & the bathroom lighting is crappy so he liked that the fact that there’s a light that can be adjusted to a bright setting and that the mirrors allowed him to see what he was doing from multiple angles. Although my husband & I thought it was a great product I have to give it 3 stars because the mirror light stop working after 2 months.
