## Description

Flotation Foam is a polyurethane 2-part foam that mixes evenly and pours into place for soundproofing, insulation and additional buoyancy. 2 lbs. Density Buoyancy range is 100 to 120 lbs/qt. 470-600 lbs/gallon 2 lb foam is recommended for filling gaps in non-structured applications. It can be poured under the deck or in a cavity and requires a lightweight buoyancy foam to provide buoyancy. This foam is tested in accordance with US Coast Guard Regulation # 33 CFR 183.114. The foam is approximately 95-98% closed cell and is highly absorbent.

- All inflation rate and time are important. Temperatures below 75 degrees F will decrease the expansion rate, so more bubbles are required. The ideal operating temperature is 75 degrees F to 80 degrees F. Accurately measuring these products is very important. Working time before foaming: about 45 seconds Time to fully extend: about 5 minutes

**Q: what is the storage shelf life?**
A: As long as it is in a cool dry place it should last about 6 months.

**Q: Is the blowing agent water or other?  Do you have a K value for the foam?**
A: There is no blowing agent. Water will cause the foam to not rise.

**Q: what is the proper storage temperature? pre mix.**
A: Stored in unopened, containers at temperatures between 10 - 32°C (50
- 90°F).

**Q: Can you spray these chemicals? step 1 in one bottle, step 2 in the second bottle..**
A: They do have special guns to be able to spray but if you tried to mix the two together and then try to spray you would have problems as this expands too fast.
