Bob's Red Mill, Hazelnut Flour, 14 oz

I use hazelnut flour in a variety of dishes; my hazelnut mocha shortbread is epic. But it is too often to hard to locate this stuff on the grocer's shelf. Much easier and more reliable to order it from Amazon.

Very fresh. I use this to make hazelnut coffee. Pure hazelnut ingredient is so flavorful.

This hazelnut flour is AMAZING! The tastes is really fresh like if you just grounded the hazelnuts. I used it to make flourless cake and the result was out of this world!!! I will definitely keep buying this brand, it is expensive but the quality is over the top.

Expensive and ordering already milled does loose oil and flavor, it can't be helped, but this hazelnut flour is at least sealed in a bag that keeps what flavors and oils remain after milling. I only use this type of hazelnut flour for making a few types of cookies and tortes that I learned to make when I lived in Switzerland. I bought a lot of this flour (well, a lot being 8 bags) because there are also a few Italian recipes I wanted to try. Nutritionally, one hazelnut is milled like this it is no longer has that great a nutritional profile, wheat flour's protein content is higher for example.

Ideal para hacer galleta, tartas y tortas.

This is my “go to” for German Christmas cookies. Flavor is good and the grind is smooth. Maybe that is what “sheerness” means? Anyway, I have been using this for years and always with delicious results!

Bob’s Red Mill never disappoints. This was perfect for my Christmas making that required finely ground hazelnuts.
