Amazon Basics MFi-Certified USB-A to Lightning Cable for Apple iPhone and iPad - 6 Feet (1.8 Meters), White

I bought Amazon basic cables some time ago. I saw someone post these horrible pictures of their phone melting or something ridiculous. I've had my Amazon Basic cable for like 1 or 2 years. No issues with that cable at all, still works, no cable fraying, but then again, it's just by my bed to charge at night. I needed some new cables for my car. I have a Ford Focus. I had purchased some charging cables on here and my tablet would not charge using those cables, so I wondered if the USB ports were not powerful enough. But when I got these cables, my iPad charges just fine! Plus, over time, many of the other cables will start not being recognized by the Apple devices. I don't know why that occurs over time (they lasted one or two months), but it's annoying because the cables eventually are useless. Once I bought these cables, I've had no issues whatsoever, and they worked charging larger devices on the exact same car USB ports. I will only purchase the Amazon Basic cables from now on. It's worth it.

It works very well and is very durable. I had the amazon basics charger that came before this one and I got a couple years out of it before it stopped working, mostly because it was in my car. This one works great in my car and inside. No signs of wear and it’s really long. I like the big base where it goes into the phone, makes it easy to grab even with my otter box in the way. You won’t find a better charger, especially for that crazy low price. The price was just too low, I thought it was going to be junk but it’s actually higher quality than some $30 chargers I’ve bought in the past.

These cords were nice and long and charged well while they worked. One quit working within a month and the other lasted a couple months longer. I try to look for quality and pay a little more. I won’t buy these again. 8/14/19 Amazon docked my bank account for two cords because I didn’t return the old ones. I was never given notice that new ones were coming or to return defective cords at the time. I had to do a lot of digging to find an email “Reminder to Return” the defective cords, and then the charges on my account were more than the email said would be billed if not returned by some date. I’m shocked at the poor way this was handled as I don’t check emails much but I always get notifications thru the app (since that’s how I notified Amazon.) In the email from Amazon, there is a link to print a return label, but the link opens the Amazon app (on my iPhone) to the list of items I’ve ordered. This is a mess. I’m trying the link on the MacBook and we’ll see how that works. Nice surprise...not. 8/7/19 Update: Amazon responded to my appeal to replace or refund and they sent out two new cords. They arrived July 3 and the one I’m using is working good. I realize I need to break out the other cord to be sure it works. Amazon has incredible service on returns and I’m very grateful for their amazing help! I will buy again, if no further defects, but I will always buy Amazon.

Amazon basics are my go to brand for accessories

It’s hard to get excited about, well, a cord but I felt compelled to write this because it’s a quality product, at a reasonable price. It makes a nice chunky ‘click’ when you attach it to your ipad etc, and it feels solid. Of course I could be cursing it out 6 months from now - that’s the risk you take with early reviews - but I don’t think so. I put my money where my mouth is, and ordered another (longer length) one. One unexpected bonus is, being colored (red) vs the standard white, my kids can’t steal it anymore without me knowing! With that in mind, for the additional I just ordered, I chose blue.

I use this charger on a daily basis, and have for over a year now. It has lasted that long, with minimal sign of wear. It is starting to break at the end that plugs into my phone where it is reinforced, but only the reinforcement is breaking, it is not breaking down into the metal wires inside. It has not let me down once. The length is definitely a plus. I love and trust it so much that I have ordered multiple for my car, and recommended to others. If it happens to break at any point, I'll just chalk it up to normal wear and tear, and order a new one. Just want to be clear that I have had it for over a year before I noticed that minimal breakage. As for charging power, I have no complaints.

It charges as fast as most chargers . . . Maybe a tad bit faster. However, the cord is weak near the end where it connects to the end piece that plugs into the phone’s port. The cord is average but as I said the end cord is weaker then I’d like. Ultimately that part of the cord that attaches to the connector . . . The part you put into the cell phones port 📲 always ends up bending until the wires are exposed making it not usable anymore. Like charging cords this one will be no different. They all end up bending until the wires are exposed and they are not usable anymore. I say this with certainty because this one has already started to bend at the end the connector that goes into the phone port. Just like I’ve repeated myself over and over again. I will have to buy new chords over and over again continue to charge my iPhone. It can’t be that hard to design one that will hold up over time. Are Just my opinion. . . Seit Jahren vertraue und kaufe ich Produkte von AmazonBasic aufgrund des sehr guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Dieses Original Zertifiziertes AmazonBasic Kabel ist eigentlich ideal für Leute und Reisende, die das Kabel auf dem Tisch haben um sie zusätzlich zu Erinnern, dass Sie ihre Geräte aufladen. Einstöpseln > Laden lassen und abstöpseln. Wie auch viele so auch dieses ist ebenso in China hergestellt ist, Mein iPhone 7 hat es sofort erkannt. Dieses jedoch ist dicker und von der Verarbeitung her gibt es wirklich nichts zu sagen. Das Handling ist insgesamt gut, lässt sich problemlos einstecken und ausstöpseln, Der Knickschutz ist super und bereitet mir selbst keine Probleme. Den Braucht man aber eigentlich nicht, wenn man das Gerät eh nicht bewegen kann während dem Ladevorgang. FAZIT: Auch dieses wie die vorherigen Produkte von AmazonBasic haben mir wieder gezeigt, dass ich mich aufgrund des günstigen Preises, dass ich mich auf die Verlassen kann. Bei Bedarf werde ich es nochmals kaufen.

Super gut geeignet, um iphone im Auto (hier: Toyota) mit Apple CarPlay an der Mittelkonsole zu verbinden! Kabel ist genau ausreichend lang, lädt schnell und stabil und man hat nicht sinnlos tausend Meter Kabel im Fußraum rumliegen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

El cable de 10 cm es perfecto para lo que necesitaba. Permite carga del iPhone y transmisión de datos. Todo un acierto.

Cavo di buona fattura, ad un prezzo veramente conveniente (considerandone anche la lunghezza). E' molto più rigido dell'originale e ha un diametro leggermente maggiore (ma parliamo di mezzo millimetro). Il cavo originale è morbido e "gommoso" al tatto, questo invece ha una consistenza più... "plasticosa", liscia. Ma forse ha il vantaggio di sporcarsi di meno. Il connettore Lightning si inserisce perfettamente nell'iPhone e nell'iPad (d'altronde per essere certificato Apple MFi deve necessariamente rispettare altissimi standard qualitativi). Il terminale plastico però è più voluminoso rispetto a quello del cavo originale: a grandi linee è 1mm più spesso e 2mm più largo. Ottima la carica: pur essendo molto più lungo, ho misurato una corrente di carica addirittura superiore a quella del cavo originale che utilizzo abitualmente.
