XCOM 2 Collection - PlayStation 4

Great price. Came quick. Kick butt game

Hello, I'm N-Game ArtsThis is a review of the "Product" and not the "Game" it self.I want to start with a few things.Firstly, there are 2 discs in "XCOM 2 Collection" The first disc is the "Data Disc" and the second disc is the "Play Disc".You put in the "Data Disc" first to install all of the "game's content" onto your console and when it's done you remove it and put in the "Play Disc" to play the game and all of it content installed.Now all of the on disc content on the "Data Disc" has.XCOM 2 (Base Game)War of the Chosen (Expansion)Resistance Warrior PackAnarchy's ChildrenShen's Last GiftAlien Hunter*And all of the updates on disc.Now onto the bigger part... When everything is installed from the "Data Disc" it will take up 54GBs of memory.What it means is, it's proof that Blu-ray discs can have data compressed to fit into a 50GB single disc...Installing all of the compressed data onto your hard drive may take a long time, but it's small price to pay to have all of the content on disc.So I want to personally thank "Firaxis Games" and "2K Games" for showing that ALL games can hold all of it's DLCs, Updates, Expansions and the Base Game content on a single disc... PS4 and the XB1 only have a dual layer disc drive... Which is why they can't play games with higher 50GBs capacity discs such as BDXLs, but if they have a "Install Disc" and "Play Disc" it can be done.Now we can know for sure when a company is being lazy or greedy for not putting all of the content on disc....Sorry, I had to get that out.But for more information your save file from the the first release of XCOM 2 can transfer over to this one.I give it 5 stars cause this is what I look for in my games to have all of it's content on disc andWe here at N-Game Arts, we don't do"DLC", "Updates", "Microtransactions" or "Redeem Codes" if it's not on the disc, it doesn't exist.And again This is a review of the "Product" and not the "Game" it self.

Fantastic game! I just started playing, so barely scratch the surface; here are my 2 cents:+ Challenging game play. (I am at veteran level, and didn't play a xcom1 much.)+ A separate data disc that has all the game data and DLCs, so no additional download is needed.o Yes, there is some load time, loading a save game, but not so bad that harms the enjoyment of the game.o Character customization could be better (probably my personal preference, that's all; maybe more options will open up later in the game; don't care too much about those from Anarchy's Children).- Challenge mode never works! The server is "always" unavailable. Sent help request to 2k; they claimed I have to "link" my 2k account first; tried that but still doesn't work...Looking forward to play this in greater depth!

Can't count the number of hours I put in to the original X-Com on PS1 and Terror from the Deep on PC.Recently started playing games again and was surprised to see an expansion released. It was a great add-on to the original X-com 2, made a lot more challenging.Problem is once you get close to mid-game, the amount of NPC's on the screen becomes to much for the PS4 to handle. Advent gave me lost world (where lost may be present on missions). They weren't maybe sometimes on missions, they were on every FREAKIN mission causing the game to run really slow.It got insanely bad when I hit an alien base, total enemies was 130ish. The game crashed 9 times, so I turned off autosave (which helped), but then it crashed another 5 times before I finally made it out. Figured the month was almost up and I wouldn't have to deal with lost very often after that mission. Lost world had finally concluded and the very next mission had lost. At the end of the mission the game started to crash again. So I'm officially giving up.I'm not sure if it's the PS4's doesn't have enough memory or what the problem is. The last time I played a game this bad was New Vegas, which I sadly didn't finish either for the same reason. Really pains me to give this game a crap rating, but the damn thing is unplayable. Who was in charge of porting this game should be ashamed.

This special edition has a lot of extra content. Loving it.

A masterpiece. It's both rewarding and punishing with it's unique game mechanics.While I did suffer getting some achievements, I enjoyed the whole experience overall. It is challenging enough to capture your interest but not too much as to make it unenjoyable. Kinda like Dark Souls in this sense.I completed approximately 4 playthroughs of the game.

International priority shipping to Saudi Arabia.Package delivered a day early than expected.No damage, no scratcher.Very addictive game if you are into turn based strategy games.There are two discs. One for the installation and one for the gameplay.While playing the game keep the gameplay disc in the disc drive of PS4.New players first finish the standard game then move to dlc.Very satisfied.

Lo tuve que comprar de importación porque en España apenas salieron unidades y perfecto. Instalas el disco de datos, luego el de juego y ya está, sin descargas ni nada más. Viene todo incluido en los dos discos, el juego, la expansión, los dlcs y todos los parches.Es región libre y a mi se me instaló el idioma de audio y subtítulos por defecto, el de mi país, español de España, aún siendo importado de EEUU, pero creo que tiene las mismas opcciones de audio y subtitulado que el juego original. Así tendrían que ser todas las ediciones recopilatorias.
