Found out the hard way I owned a light with this crazy base, which the bulbs cost a ridiculous amount. Thank you to whoever invented these, what a simple conversion.

Worked for my pot lights that used eu24 bulbs which are harder to find. e27 is much more universal.Adapter is plastic but made well. e27 socket is a good snug fit not loose.

Since the switchover to LEDs, we have had a hard time sourcing E12 bulbs (as in, not to be found), and this product could have filled an important niche in the market. Sadly, neither style E14 bulb screws into the base, so they are useless, and if someone tries to use them with half of the base exposed, could be very dangerous.It’s a shame because if it was a good product, probably could sell a ton to people like ourselves who don’t want to replace their fixtures or refit them, because the manufacturers stopped making the E12 bulb.Disappointing.

For a closed chandelier it was too tight a fit, but otherwise a great idea.
