Took the plunge and bought this after researching and looking at cheaper ones. This is a really sturdy machine, it makes wonderful swirly ice cream in about 40/50 minutes, very easy to clean after use as it has a clean function. It’s heavy to move so I suggest finding a place for it and not moving it too much. Very happy I bought this.

I love this machine, it makes lovely whippy ice cream, (I add flavours & colourings to mix things up) easy to clean, let it go through its own clean cycle around 5-6 times, then just take the front off, clean & put back, (making sure the seals are on properly, or it will leak)

Takes 50 minutes to make ice cream. Easy to use, easy to dismantle for cleaning and re-assembly. Could do with being colder as the ice cream melts really quickly, unless it goes into the freezer. Otherwise, does what it says on the tin.

So far so good... I will aim to do a video review of this machine. Just getting used to it. The quality is fine. It does make a bit of a noise when there is less ice cream left in the chamber. It sounds as if the machine is having a hard time... Will send a video to Cooks to confirm what is happening. Good soft serve though... Comelle real dairy (black carton) ice cream mix does wonders in this. If you get them from your local cash and carry then it's a bargain costing nearly £3-£4 per 1 litre of ice cream.

Cooks Professional are fantastic Company, have replaced unit , folks this will be my 3rd unit last one from a German company both machines had the same problem in that motor stopped working after 3-4 weeks it must be a design fault, please remember to go through 5-6 cycles when cleaning and also remove front plate, once plate is removed take off nozzle and seal before pulling apart very important to then slide white plastic plunger and clean Now had replacement do the exact same motor is faulty after 14 days, think will want refund 1/8/25

Love that you can just pour in the ice cream concentrate or your homemade mix and 50 minutes later, you have perfect mr whippy ice cream. And when you’ve used it up, you can pour in more and start again. Cleaning is a bit time consuming, but easy enough. Pour in a litre of hot water, press the clean button and the 10 minute cycle begins. Repeat 4 or 5 times. Strip down, clean the parts, which are already clean really, due to the cycles, dry and reassemble. All quite easy. It is quite loud, but who really cares? Well designed and easy to use.

I am in love x. Ice cream tastes wonderful and is so easy to make. Easy to clean too. I will be using it on our birthday teas x

This is an excellent machine. It is very straightforward to use and produces great ice-cream. I'm really happy with it over all. I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because of two shortcomings: 1. The instructions are very poor: they are not fully comprehensive (idiot-proof) and there is a random element to the order they are organised in. Additionally, the text is so small that it is a challenge to read, especially the numbers in circles. 2. The "automatic cleaning" function isn't fully comprehensive. If you follow the instructions, it requires far more than 5 cycles for the water to run clear, which is tedious. The automatic cleaning function is adequate for leaving the machine overnight. If you are going to leave it out of use for longer than a day or two, you need to disassemble the unit fully to clean the parts properly. With experience, I have developed my own process for cleaning and have documented it so that I don't forget in the long periods between use, so now cleaning is pretty straightforward. I was going to upload my assembly and cleaning instructions document here for others to use, but unfortunately only image or video files are accepted.
