Marshall MS-2R Red Micro Guitar Amp

This tiny box provides the classic ‘Marshall crunch’ on the clean channel and it is excellent for practising in your room. I have been playing a Gibson Les Paul 60s tribute (with single coil P90 pick-ups) and a standard Fender Mexican telecaster through it for the last one week. As you would expect from a Marshall amplifier, the sound pleasantly cracks up on the clean channel if both the guitar and amplifier volume settings are turned up. This sound is good for classic rock. The overdrive channel also provides decent light to medium distortion but, as expected, the tiny speaker produces jarring sounds at high distortion levels. Here are my views on some of the concerns that other reviewers have raised: • Product Quality: I received a genuine Marshall product. It has excellent build quality and it lives up to the Marshall name. • Battery life: I have been using it every day for 3 to 4 hours for the last one week and the battery has not yet discharged. I don’t see the need of an external power source. • Sound Quality: It is excellent for solo practice. Don’t expect to sound like Black Sabbath with it; it is a practice amp - set your expectations accordingly! • Sound cracking up on clean channel: A good guitar amplifier is supposed to do that at high volume settings! Overall I feel that it’s a must buy product for all electric guitar players. Go for it!

This can be the perfect reason to more practice for your guitar. Nice and compact, packs a good punch for it's size. Can carry it for a session to your terrace or lawn in the winter Sun. Should work pretty well for a camp fire too. Don't expect it to replace your full size guitar amp just like you wouldn't compare a Maruti Alto to Mercedes or Audi. The other model that has two speakers isn't as good, may be a tad louder but that's it. This model has a little overdrive function too that gives a taste of distortion, but again don't expect to get heavy metal or hard rock tones. Use it for your practice, quiet campfires, with your SO and you will be glad you got this baby.

It's good for a practice and can occupy a jam sesson within a small rooms. Sound quality is more of trash sounds best suited for hard rock. I had expected more but it is value for money It is compatible with gears that an amp can handle it's functionality was but confusing. for this we need a seperate 9v adapter to recharge charge + 9 Battry just to operate without which it is of no use. And one important point you cannot use this while charging. Either you need to have a battry that is fully charge or get a new one. That specific point I was little not satisfied about. others everything is fine looks is premium and other features such as tones it's good.

Before buying this i have done some research but i didn't expect this mini amp would be this much good, i loved it and don't think too much about it just buy it.

Personally i wouldn't recommend this amp to anyone. Even after keeping the volume to half and tone level in the centre you don't get clean sound , it's really muddy. Rather go with some other amp or get a headphone amp instead.

Met my expectations under low price. Very good quality sound.

I ordered this product and When I turn up the volume the sound is very bad. sound quality is not clear...

For the price it is obviously not going to sound absolutely amazing but it still sounds good, my husband and I got it for our son so he could play anywhere and it works good for him. Without having to lug around a massive amp, I call that a win.

it is small to pack

Dont expect an incredible tune from this. However, it is really cool looking and portable which is a must buy for guitar players.

I bought this for my boy’s guitar lessons. He’s 11 and has to carry it with his guitar. It fits neatly in his bag and it’s at all heavy. The battery won’t last a huge amount of time, and it can sound pretty bad once the battery starts to go, but you can buy a power cable if you don’t mind being stuck near a socket. It is amazing for what it is though, it kicks out a great sound, has overdrive which is a handy feature, is portable and even has a belt clip! Plus it has a headphone socket too. I use it sometimes while I’m sat on the couch trying to learn to play too, just because it saves me dragging out the big Marshall, plugging it in, and then exposing my neighbours to some of my hellish learner screeching!

O som é excelente para o tamanho da caixinha. Funciona na tomada e também muito bem com a bateria de 9V.
