Kills em stupid fruit flies
Fruit flies love this stuff. I bought it to refill tarro apple looking traps. You can open those traps btw and reuse them.Yes, this stuff stinks like vinegar. It has acetic acid in it, which is what gives vinegar its smell.Vinegar is made from alcohol, alcohol is made from sugar fermenting. Fruit flies love sugar so it makes sense they are attracted to the acetic acid, it's a by product of sugar and decay. Flies love decay too if you haven't noticed. After reading more online, only hungry fruit flies are attracted to acetic acid. They'll all be hungry eventually! They get stuck in the stuff. If you don't have a trap you can pour it in a tiny dish, it will work.If you take care of the source of the fruit flies, you can stop using this stinky stuff. Get a drain killer for fruit flies. They love leaving their larvae in drains. It could also be your garbage. Old and rotting fruit seems to call them out of nowhere.Good luck.

It works!
I bought the Terro one last year because I tend to have fruit fly problems in my 1928 home during the summer. It worked well but I ran out of the liquid. Tried to buy the Terro one but it wasn't available. Amazon suggested this product and after seeing the reviews I had to give it a try. Well as you can see, it did the trick! Highly recommend! This was left for about 2 weeks. It still has the strong fermented smell after sitting out for 2 weeks. I switched it due to how many fruit flies were in there.

Bye bye fruit fly is absolutely worthless...
I had a bad problem with fruit flies. They were terrible. It all started with a rotten potato that I didn't see and they made a nest there and started laying eggs. I never had this problem before and I didn't know what to do. I researched fruit flies online and then I started looking in Walmart online. The first thing that I found were these little tomatoes that are used to lure the pesky little pests. I put them in my kitchen and my bathroom, the places where I had the most problems. In one day each tomato had a thick layer of fruit flies. But in 4 days the liquid in the tomatoes had evaporated. I looked for a liquid to refill the tomatoes and I found this product. I ordered 2 bottles of this stuff especially because of the large size. I figured that would be enough to get rid of all the pests. Boy was I wrong. I put some of the stuff into the tomatoes and didn't lure or trap one fly. I know that this stuff isn't meant to be used in the tomatoes so I put some tops from mason jars out in several places in my kitchen and filled them halfway with Bye bye Fruit Flies and put some apple cider in with it as an attractant. Again I didn't get even one solitary fruit fly and I followed all the directions on the bottle. This was a total waste of my money and I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. This stuff might as well be water. Pure crap!

I just had my first major fruit fly infestation! ...
I just had my first major fruit fly infestation!Since my house is fairly clean I figured they would just die off, but after a few days it was clear their numbers were increasing rapidly. After dismissing my mothers solution of spraying them with Raid, and in a moment of desperation, I ordered some fruit fly traps and Bye Bye Fruit Fly to use as a convenient lure.Doing additional reserch in my time waiting for the products to arrive, I ran across the solution of home made traps filled 1" with apple cider vinegar and a couple drops of dish washing liquid. I had some organic, raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized Bragg apple cider vinegar laying around:http://www.amazon.com/Bragg-Apple-Cider-Vinegar-Organic/dp/B001I7MVG0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418814379&sr=8-1&keywords=apple+cider+vinegar&pebp=1418814382817so set 2 bowl traps. One with plastic wrap over the top poked with holes, and the other just left open to the air. Both traps killed about 50-75 flys a day, but after three days they were still collecting the same number of victims only smaller. They were obviously still reproducing somewhere, and it turns out there was a nest of them going to town in my rice cooker (talk about a shock opening the lid). It's been three days since tossing the cooker out in the snow, and I haven't caught anymore flys in the bowl traps, or seen them flying around. So, while I can't comment on the effectiveness of Bye Bye Fruit Fly, I can say that the $3 bottle of Bragg did wonders once their breeding grounds and source of food were eliminated. Plus I can still use the vinegar for anything else I run in to.

Like this!
I've tried several products to get rid of the fruit flies - they somehow get into the kitchen every summer. This really worked. I picked up the cups of stuff about two weeks ago and still fruit fly free, although I expect they will get back in the house on some fruit. Even so, I new have a way to get rid of them. They seem to really like my ice/water dispenser.

Works Great!!!
I live in an area where these pests are just a problem and no matter how much I make sure to keep thing tidy they still manage to show up. This has helped greatly. I have refillable traps that I place in problem areas and they flock to it and DIE! Greatly reduced the number of fruit flies I find.

It gets rid of the fruit flies.
I pour the stuff into these little round plastic things. The fruit flies fly in, but they don't fly out works fantastic.
