I was doing a home renovation, so to get better coverage, I decided to use an access point at the center of the first-floor ceiling. This was the cheapest option I found after searching a lot. I would have chosen Unify if I didn't saw TP-Link Pros, easy install, easy config even without Omada software good coverage, entire 1000 sqft floor gets 2.5 GHz coverage and Hall and Bedrooms get 5GHz coverage at 100mbps transfer speed. This product is sleek with good build quality, absolutely great performance and easy to configure. The included hardware installation guide and parts are very hand. However, it lacks an Ethernet cable which would complete the installation kit with PoE adapter. The product is available for ~5000 (as of this writing) at offline stores. A reputed dealer/wholesales can offer even better price.

The product is not getting linked. The router is not getting linked.

Loved the product. Have fair coverage area also. 1 tech tips - Airtime Fairness option in 2.4G will kill your client connection, don't enable that. Edit - the problem is resolved vide an firmware update.

We use it for our office. It seems good Signal strength & Bandwith throughput. Recommended for office usage.

The PoE Adapter provided with the device is not working, I had to buy it separately

Purchased and installed EAP225 on a gamble as had same features as more expensive competitors like Ubiquiti UAP range. I've mounted up and cabled to middle of the house and easily provides coverage throughout. Can walk out the street and still have great signal. Setup for a single AP just using WPA2 without controller was simple, find the IP assigned and just connect via web browser, couple of "next next next" steps and ready to go. The unit also supports TP Link's controller software Omada which I am keen to have a play with down the track, always good for nerds to have these things to play with at home! Performance is great, no drop outs and much better than replaced very old unit that constantly needed rebooting and just had poor coverage. Got the "wife tick of approval". Looks great mounted on ceiling. Mounting was simple as.

Enkel installation

Purhcased two to improve the performance/coverage in my house. The dual band works great and have not had any issues. Currently at any point in time I'll have 2 x 1080P security cameras, 1 x 4k security camera, thermostat, 2x smoke/co2 detectors, two ipads, two iphones. No bandwidth issues. As well taking the dual band off my router has noticebly helped with performance issues I had been noticing while physically connected. Only struggling a littler with AP isolation configuration. Some times my cameras in the front side of my house will flip to the AP near the backside, opposed to the AP that is on the front portion of the house.
