Quality speaks for itself!
I bought the Diawa Bent Butt 6'6" Medium Heavy 40-100 LB with swivel tip rod And paired it with a Diawa Tanacom 1000 electric reel. The rod is perfect in every way with a sensitive tip and a lot of backbone. My cabin is 14 feet off the ground and I have rod holders mounted to the railing. I put two 20 pound boat anchors on 100 Lb line with a total of 40 pounds of weight and wrenched them up with that electric reel, that rod bent over and took it like a champ All the way up no creaking no cracking! Quite impressed plan to buy 3 more!

All you need for deep dropping
This rod is powerful and has been extremely reliable while deep dropping offshore in Texas. I bought the 6’6” 40-100 and have never felt undergunned. I paired it with a Tanacom 1000 and a Penn VISX 16.

Need more for the price
The rod is great but it should come with both attachments for the price. The bent extension and a straight extension should be added for customers who fish on party boats

Worked Like a Champ
Was not the right rod for a party boat, but I made it work and it worked for me with my Tanacom 1000.

Tanacom rod
The rod is functional. Here is what I did not like. You buy a Tanacom 750 reel and a Tanacom rod to use with it and they do not fit together. The rod seat is larger around than the seat on the reel. You have to do some modification to the rod seat and get longer screws for the reel to make everything fit. We have only used this once and have not caught any fish so cannot tell you how the rod handles with large fish on.
