Large-capacity replacement drive fro laptop
1 TB hardrive, giving a litle less than that of usable space (as with all hard drives). This one, unlike some (higher-priced) others, does not have any software for copying the old hard drive. However, with Clonezilla (free download) it's pretty straightforward, although it won't increase your partition sizes (if you have lots of partitions). You can increase partions with Gparted (another free download), so the end result is the same as paying more for a drive that includes software you'll probably ony use once. The drive seems fast enough for my purposes, although I'm not a gamer, so I can't comment on how useful it'll be for that.

Died within hours..
Flashed a Linux image on this yoke, and it ran alright on the Raspberry Pi for about 2 hours. All kinds of errors started showing up then, and troubleshooting carried on through a couple of evenings. Turns out it locked up and became read-only. Imagine I was formatting it, and the partitions were still there. Luckily they are going to refund, but the quality of this SSD is questionable.

Failed to boot
Unfortunately my computer wouldn't boot with this SSD, but worked fine with the replacement Crucial SSD. Returned for a refund.
